The NASTE Tuesday Night Racing has moved to Odd Thursday Nights (odd calendar numbered days).

We had a small turn out for the first Odd Thursday Night of Racing, but it was fun!

What a fun night of racing. I had a great time! Bryan Trachsel killed us all in BOTH classes! That was enough for the majority to rule in favor of a rule change to a handicap system for repeat winners (now you did it Bryan!).

After the official racing was over, a few of us stuck around while Chris Kouba brought out some of his beautiful 1/24 cars. Chris was kind enough to allow us to get some laps with his cars (no we didn't break them all). Running Chris' 1/24 Porshe 962s & 956s three wide on TooBad was a BLAST!!! Could this be a possibility for a NASTE IROC event here at TooBad Motorplex in the future?

I had a good time at the race, coffee and goodies, what more is there? Oh, the racing of course! I like the Odd Thursday's format.
Well hopefuly I will not have to borrow cars any more, (thanks to Bill and Monte who loaned me cars ) as I ordered a sports car and a GT car from Fantasy World yesterday. The GT car is a pre order so I really don't know when they will show up at my door.
I am having a heck of a time finding better tires. I can not get through the sign in process on E-bay, that is where I found some tires. So today I will look at other venders. Fantasy World was out of what I was interested in.

May 9th & another Odd Thursday evening of racing.
Seven racers made it out tonight for some warm racing (warm in the garage, not on the track!). Bryan Trachsel took the top podium spot in both classes (yes again), despite being assessed a one lap handicap in each class! What do we have to do to beat this guy? Well for the next Odd Thursday race he will be assessed a two lap handicap if he chooses to race the same cars in their respective classes. Bryan says he will be back and up to the challenge!

After the "official" racing was over we were visited by some of my neighbors. I think they were pretty sure something illegal was going on in the garage of that white house! We assured them we were on the up & up, and then got their kids dialed in for some racing action. So don't be surprised if we have some additional racers for the next Odd Thursday. I think the word may be out, and we may be running a kid's division. Thanks everyone, I had a great time!
