Very nice builds on both cant wait to see them in person
glad to see this one is finished and look forward to turning some laps on this track. is there races planned for this season or will it have to wait until next race season?
Id definitely be interested in trying one out to see how they handle they might not be took bad with a hawk 7 motor or a parma 16d
another option as well is Pro-track makes a hardbody chassis similar to the one we run for Howies Indy car class and as we have seen with the indy car class it usually has a high car count
I just wanted feedback on why the Parma FCR brass chassis has not been turned into a class among any of the sanctions as they are a readily available chassis that is relatively cheap and with zero movement in the chassis it would come down to a drivers class think essentially a large scale womp with a hard body. I am sure they could be a blast with a hawk 7 motor.
I like how this looks if you want I am gladly in favor of stopping the points series right now.
Im sure he could make it any dimension needed.
I might need to start adding my controller trunk to all of my boxes though. I will be talking to my neighbor to see if its something he will want to produce multiple of.
I will be looking to restore one of my Hoffman boxes as a fun winter project here soon as its in rough shape but still solid foundation. I plan to add new hardware to mine and potentially do a clear coat on it.
I am on the hunt for another car this time will be a Paser trans am. Dig through those boxes and let me know what might be available.
thank you,
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to bring this one back to life. this is one that for no specific reason just called my name when I saw the picture of it and I had to have it so Im looking forward to letting it run some laps again
is there any updates on this track?
I am definitely looking forward to trying out the production cars again... Doc had worked on mine and after the race I had a chance to test it out and its a completely different car now and I may be able to be competetive now. Thanks again doc for tuning it up Ill look for the bill in the mail.
As for the flexi race it was a great time and Ive been noticing a few other cars stepping up in the speed department along with some good driving the avoid the multiple crashes the occured but all in all its always a fun class to race.
The midgets what can I say even with my 18k motor they are just a complete riot to race and have got to be one of my favorite classes to run and I am looking forward to building a 2nd one with hopefully the faster motor and will use my one arm wonder as a possible loaner car.
Thanks again for a great night of racing and glad it all worked out that I was able to Compete ( I use that term Lightly) in all of the classes.
Had this race not been ran along side the oscar race in Vancouver I would have been up to try it out. I do plan to attend one of these if nothing else than to say I did 1.
Bill are you only saying that because there is alot of pit time repairing cars?
Thank you for providing a great facility and having the track in top notch shape for close side x side action and lots of fun. The turn out for this event was fantastic and the group of people were a pleasure to have around. Thanks again for the group that made the trip from over the mountain to come compete. I cant wait for the next race..... hopefully with a few less car issues
wasnt jimmy looking for this style of track? Maybe see if someone cant take it over the mountain to him this weekend?
I dont think it was lack of interest its just multiple things came up for a few people I know I will be participating next year. if you look at majority of the races thus far this season the turn out has been low.
Can track records be set at any time or only at an event the car is being ran at?
Thank you as always for the race report this was a great time and if yall havent noticed I am digging the midgets and looking forward to seeing more out there.
Thank you again to Bob for getting me out of a jam with letting me borrow a chip for the night on my difalco as 113 does not make for a drivable car with the cars that we run.
looking forward to future races and seeing what we can do to build this Monday program up.
I am looking forward to showing up tonight but with my work schedule it will most likely put me there around 5:30 this evening. Anyone can call or text me on race days 503-964-4480 to make gauge where I am if needed but I try to reach out on my exact ETA or give a heads up if its a race I wont be able to make it to. I know myself I would like to participate in the Flexi,Womp, and midgets but I dont at all expect a race night to be based upon me solely so I am open to whatever is ultimately agreed upon.
That Midget looks awesome !! so what is the thought process for these are we going to try and run 4 classes on Mondays now?
I too use to race on that track alot when it was at raceway usa.... I started working there when I was 11 years old and would help with parts or cleaning the tracks among other tasks in order to get extra money to race or use my time worked to put towards new parts or cars. Definitely one of my favorite memories was growing up at a slot car track
What is everyone's thought on the Third eye "HITMAN" controllers or have they been used much around here?
What decision was made in regards to the motor choices on this class? I know there has been discussion on whether this would be a s16d or a hawk 7 motor?
