We need to remember even when we de-slot or get nerfed or when the Marshal fumbles our car and we feel that emotional burst coming on that we are not in the back room of some hobby shop or in a Tavern. We are in someone's home, by invitation.
So very true Mitch. Sometimes we all forget that little fact..
maybe some 1/32 scale racing at Inslot's Checkered Flag Raceway race some time in the near future??????
Think the only issues was with pge class. Im good with what ever we run. my 917 is getting a little dusty sitting in the old slot car box ... just needs some 10mm out back...
looking good. keep that up and I'll HAVE to get one going yet. nice that there is no soldering needed to go 1/24 racing
Easy fix if needed. only full fender roofed cars.... that would take car of any can am cars..
Has any body checked the shore rating before and after a race. I wonder if after a heat cycle they are not slightly harder shore. I know when I race on road sedan nitro that did did happen but also working with a lot more temp in the track vs what you see with a slot car
but did you get that funky smell out of it after the roll over???

and some of still are at that same point uk uk ukka
Well the hard work did pay off Mitch. the track has a ton more grip. I think i knocked out some low 5 second laps with my can am and 962 and it will only get faster the more rubber that gets put down.... if you need any help with the scenery just give me a call. once again great job...
So your saying if there is a issue with the tape. It will be your wife fault???
boy that looks like a nice smooth track surface you have going there Mitch. the hard work looks like it payed off. how does it drive with the new paint. o by the way the car looks great also.

ok but were would that be? i have looked high i have looked low i even looked when i said I would not. but after eating two bags of carrots and new eye classes I did not find a project page...
We us them you who ever it may concern. Has a date been set yet
Dtm tuning you say sure I'm in also. I'LL bring the most important tuning tool. 5lb deadblow hammer. Just pick the night 400 pm or later works best for me.
thanks for the loaner Zack. the hook is set just have to reel me in some...
get back to work less posting more casting
Never seen Carrera chassis that had to be straightened. They are pretty robust cars. Built more like tank than a car. But yes those pods are just spot welded on in spots
thanks Zack, it fell of a little towards the end of the proxie. I'm thinking tires lost some grip.
Yes in deeded there is something missing when your not racing with us Bill. life can get busy at times. I would love to build a few 1/24 cars but I believe that they would not get much run time with me working on Saturdays...
sounds like there was a good turn out for the class. I was slammed at work did not get home till 630..
So these is my thoughts on the Classic Sports Car Division.
Classic Sports Car Division 1 18k h&r motor 8mm rims and tires ,tires open pod or non pod chassis, pod free for movement.
Classic Sports Car Division 2 /Class 15 - Sportscar Era Class - Pre-Ground Effect (PGE) nsr 20k motor 10mm wheels and tires, tires open, open chassis. guys could buy any of the classic nsr cars and race right out of the box. the slot it cars would only need a motor swap
Vintage Sports Car. This is a spec motor class. Cars will be required to use the H&R 14k motor only. Class is limited to pre 1960 cars, replicating cars built and raced through 1959. Chassis construction must be rigid with no separate articulating pieces such as hinged side pans, motor pods, or suspension type front axle mounts. Motor "podded" chassis will NOT be allowed. Eligible car's rear wheel width and tire contact patch must be 7mm or less. Track width must be no wider than the car's body width, tire and wheel must be completely within the body wheel opening. No portion of the tire/wheel shall be visible when viewed from above. Bodies shall not be modified to increase front or rear track (no fender flares or widening of body).
Yes I have done it with plastic gears in the past were the normal tooth paste trick did not work. A world of caution though to much heat and you have a warped chassis or goo for gears.when doing the heat make sure that you have power going to the motor and gears are turning. Stop when that start to sound smother
