sound like plan Bill.
So there is a guys walking through the park and sees a nun sitting on the bench.
He walks over and sit down next to the Nun.
he turns and say to the nun that he always want to kiss a nun.
the nun reply's that would not be right in eye of god
well it ways been on my bucket list the guy says.
So the Nun asks are you  catholic?
why yes I am the guy answers back.
well then it would be ok for you to give me little kiss the nun says..
so the guy leans over and gives the nun a big old wet kiss right on the mouth and starts to laugh. the nun ask what is so funny?
well the guys says I'm really not catholic.
the nun reply back and says that ok, I'm really not a nun, my name is Bill and I'm on my way to a costume party

Here's a closer look at the hook-ups. Thanks to Beau for the cool discs for correct controller wire connection.

I get questions about how to connect the controller alligator clips on these hook-ups. Here's a photo of the clips connected with the boots pulled back:

The hook-ups work fine even with the boots in place.

those look great Bill, but I still think Jeff could hook up to them wrong still.... think you need to add some braille and flashing lights...

I haven't posted an update for awhile so here it is. I've been working on the track most every day, mostly on painting. The track surface is painted, color sanded, and ready for the braid to be laid. The driver's stations are built and have three coats of white base color on them. Today I applied the first coats of color to the driver's stations to identify which lanes each serves. I also remounted the electrical track control center that houses all the relays and connections for the lap counting system.

COLOR!....Something other than tan or white!

As a track owner I DO NOT like having problems or issues during a race! It can happen but what makes it even worse is having to crawl around under the track trying to figure out the source of the problem. With the track controls mounted here with easy access, it will make performing any necessary diagnostics much easier! I am planning to redo/redesign all the electrical connections and hardware that connects the wiring to the track braid and controller hookups. Part of the plan is to use fewer nuts, bolts, and screws!

Ooooh primary colors. I like that.

At Bobs the orange and green look the same to me. At other tracks I've had trouble with the purple and blue, Sometimes if the yellow is not bright enough it looks like the green, but the yellow and orange are never a problem, go figure.

Well that explains  all the yellow and orange cars you own...

You all have fun now, I'll be drunging away and the work cave make sure all the trucks can roll so they can delv all the much needed but wipe and other things...

Hey guys, I am working on trying to get my garage sorted out so we could maybe host a night race over there soon.

I have a couple challenges to overcome before this can happen. But I am hoping before the cold winter months it is an option.

I want to emphasize that I think it is important here to respect those who open up their homes for us to race. I want to race as much as the next guy but it really isn't up to what we are comfortable with at this point. It is up to the track owners and their families and we have to respect that.

That said, starting next month there will be 3 weeks in a row of fast paced 1/24 racing going on. So now might be the time to try your hand at that!

Zack

Yes we dont want to put any pressure on the track owners, when they feel ready to hoist again they will....hopefully there is a vaccine that will  be out shortly and all these crazy crap will behind us and we can get back to normal life again....
sounds like a plan there Zack...  hey the 1/24 stuff looks like fun. just wish I could get some in. but working both saturday and sundays really  screws that up.... come on winning lottery ticket.....

With all these smoke in the air,  it really sad we not out smoking our tires with some racing....

No let's hear  the dirt on that one.
