Well, another Odd Thursday race night has come and gone. 7 racers made the trip out to Al's to do battle on the track and over the fresh bake cookies Al's wife made. 1st up was Can Am and Rico set the early pass with a fast car, a few off left the door open for the other racers and I snatched the victory away with three mistake free heats. up next was gtx and I started out in blue and had a rough heat getting caught up in other racers offs. Al rand three clean heats and looked to have the race won with a good time of 80.3. I had to wait for my time back on the track. it came down to the last heat and the last lap to decide the race and I once again was able snatch victory by 2 tenths with an 80.5-time up nest was open we were down too only 4 drivers both mitch, and Al ended up pulling their cars of in their last heats letting me cruise to an easy victory with David taking second. next Thursday is the revo slot race hoping my current run of luck stays with me and I can get a much-needed win in that race.
Race results:

Well looks like another odd Thursday race night is here. The fast hot rods are on the schedule can am and gtx

does anybody have one of these that they are willing to part with. have a chassis 99% done and the one I had is not square. I have looked every were online and nobody has one in stock.
I think that with the talent we have in the club that is very doable

Here you go Doc, this may just fit in your garage.
It was the gentle banked curves and the undulating straights that were the inspiration of my track. I originally drew it out to just about this size but when I started building the table I felt it was overwhelming the room so I removed a section out of the middle.
Ok taking donations. Maybe if we all raid our bank accounts we could come down with the down payment.

Like next week back to back odd Thursdays
Well, we finally got a race on the books. had 6 racers show up to race tonight... the track was hooked tonight. had some great side by side racing. remember, short turn around this time, there be racing again next Thursday. see u all then. stay safe.

John got away before we could capture him on film. He has a another fence post coming to him at the next race!
I think he didn't want to wear the ears.
Ok well sounds like we need another chassis building 101 class and build 4 cars.
Why not use 4 of the naste chassis that Zack made and use blue groove body? Scalesuto also has a chassis

that's good news
Another fun but long day of racing at the track. Everybody has really stepped up their game. Good to see two new faces racing. I think the hook has been set good and deep on Those two!!!! See you all in two weeks.
Well, another bust. the threat of covid keep most of the racers away from the track these last odd Thursday so it turned a test and tune with a fun 15min race thrown in the mix... hopefully in two weeks this will be all dying down and we all start getting back together and race.
area71 makes a 3d printed one
no racing today Bill so you have all day to glue that body back together and repaint. Bondo is your friend.
Damn Bill, that must have been painful to watch.

When Bill gets time he will post a picture.
