need to fix the class name. There no way in hell that any thing that starts  with the Carrea going run 80 plus laps at Al track ..

I have a Carrera that might..It is a bit modified, but it still runs in the Carrera Proxy as a Carrera. I should dig it out and dust it off once in a while.

have one of those  that was a hand me down from montie.. ran it  in the same proxy yours did. if I recall neither one ran that great...

I don't know about Monte's old car, Mine won the last race handily after running mid pack for most of the proxy.  But during the Covid lockdown I found it and fussed with it out of shear boredom. It is now NSR smooth and quiet, despite the heavier body it is still capable of running down into the 5s all day long.  With the 25K motor it only qualifies for our open class where I'd rather run a Thunderslot. It's not even legal for the proxy I built it for.
  As for running 80 laps at Al's, I could never do it but a better driver might.  I'll try to remember to find it, clean it, oil it, and bring it.  It might be a fun diversion to see just who can get the most laps out of it in three minutes.
