Im not sure if this is the right area to post this in but I was curious what everyone's thoughts would be on Meeting up at one of our tracks and having a " slot car swap meet " bring our cars that are collecting dust or model kits or anything that may draw interest and have a track day while doing swapping, buying, trading, selling etc.
maybe have a lunch as well.
Let me know thoughts on this

I would like some feedback on when would be a good time to arrange this. I know we are starting to wind down on our race season so would this be more beneficial to take place after the race season comes to an end or just a random Saturday in between races?

Pick-a-day any day and I will be there with a truck load of parts & cars in boxes new & used. Sign me up for this event... (I love a good swap meet)

Respect?!? Some of these cars deserve some serious fondling.
I'd come just to look. Bill's already got most of my money. 
Why if they were selling slot cars for a buck about all I could do is run up and down the sidewalk shouting "Ain't that cheap!".
I would suggest a nice summer day, maybe in the off season so the event could be outside.
Most of my 1/24 stuff is packed away for a lter date but I'd come anyways/ Love to see your track.
