What time did you all finish  up at. I almost  came over after my work but figured  you all most likely  were done or close to it. Would of been around 4pm

The revo slots cars were fun and The racing was very close. A few less offs and it would of been much closer than the final results showed. There were lots of side  to side racing  lap  after  lap before   some tried  to get that little extra  and either  tipped out or used the old saying 8 tires are better than 4.

The mechanics  have gone through  and installed new plugs on the big v10 and installed fresh Goodyear eagles on the back of the breathing  porsche  for good measure.  They reported the cars are tuned to a razor edge and it all up to the driver  to get the most out of them. Track condition  should be good for some really  fast lap times come race time. So with that report let get ready  to boggedy boggedy boys let's go racing....

Great  turn out at Bob last night lots of big smile on every body face for the most part. And no that was a grimacing  smile of pain on my face all night. Getting old sucks

Thanks Al for letting me hang out today waiting for the roads to clear enough for me to get home.

Have lots of snow in east Vancouver  with still more coming down. Roads weren't  to bad at 430 but that going change with it the hard freeze to night. Does  not look like it going to warm On Thursday  at all. Every body stay safe and warm.

Yes it was indeed wild night. going take me a lot more laps before I get that track down. howie nearly had his car land back at his pit spot with that rider he had...

It  was good night of racing even  with heated discussions  on full size electric  cars and other things. I think I had something for Al in gfx but the back up car was not as quick as my primary  car. Really weird that photo edged part getting bent and contacting the gear.. all well we are even starting the second half so it anybody championship  to win. Going be interesting  with a new class  part of the points races. See you all in two weeks.

Yes  sir looking forward to to great racing tonight. Remember  it's  not the size or the car that counts it how  well it races that matters.. close racing is were it is at..A little jab at those die hard 1/24 guys it all in fun...

Ok thanks Bill. The body came out great. Should be real real real easy to see it go around  the track. Sunglasses  may be needed.

I was looking through the pics and see that there was alot of cars that had the front glass instead of the screen mesh. Does it matter and what are you guys using any ways? have a body all done just need to get a driver tray and mount it to a chassis? holding off with the windshield till i hear back on my question.

And asking for a friend... Is there a class in which the Revoslot Alfa's, Escorts, and BMW's are legal?
Only class would be open. I don't they would be able to hang with what guys are running in that class. if enough guys in the club want to race them, we would have to make the rules and drop a class to bring those in. I believe are trying to put a cap on how many classes we run for the year. so it would have to be for the next race season before we could get them in. but nothing set in stone either. .

revo slot gt so yes it good to go

Yes Elliot pick up the track pretty  quickly.  The hook is set nice a deep.he never getting out of these rabbit hole.... Al held par in pge and finished one spot ahead of me again. I seem  to have a better  car in gfx so the points battle  is back and forth. One more race with the gfx cars and the new rule package  takes effect.  I think Al said we will be running  Revo slots and old school rules tans am as the next two point classes. It should be interesting  seeing how guys wrap there heads around the revo slots. Not to much one can do. Think it going to come down to who makes the least number of  mistakes  for 9 minutes. Even Thursday Bill's next week. all in all ir was good night of racing.

It was a great night of racing had new face show up to do battle and a old face that not been out to race for some time but still as fast as always.
up 1st was a class change. gt3 os what on the list but we a had bunch of guys that failed to read the schedule at left the gt3 cars at home so a quick count of cars and it was set that these would be the 1st race for the revo slot class. it was good showing and everybody seemed to enjoy the cars doc to the win followed by al and then rico. next was the pge class. Chris took the win with elbows out Al followed by Doc half a lap back. Last race of the night was open, and Doc came screaming back from the let down in pge and smoked the field with a new track record of 85.9  that was it for the night and it was test tune for those that stuck around after the last race.

I only have a few 1/24 cars and one that is set up for any of the classes and that's nastruck. So, I need to build or get some purchased that guys no longer want to race. I do think just having one start time on both night use will be better to stop any confusion. 6pm should work. Even when we had really big turns outs at Bill old track the 1st two rounds were done by 9pm and it was only the real die hands that stuck around for the last race of the night.

Sorry had planned  to come by but my work got in the way. Never  got out of Canby till 600pm at that point with hour and half drive to the east  I said screw it and went home. I think we should just race at 6pm and run two classes  open the doors at 330pm and let guys test and tune till race time. It's what we do on the even Thursday  and it seems to work out great.

Look like it way more fun than what I was dealing with on Saturday. I didn't leave Canby till 7pm on Saturday .

ok

I would like some clarification on what cars are legal for a few of the new classes:

1) Slot.it/Policar Classic- I spoke with Doc last night about whether the Policar Ferrari 330p4/412P was legal and he said it was on the list but the Policar listed is actually a BRM F1 car (Policar PCAR06A)

2) Slot.it DTM- The list of cars has the Mercedes 190E but not the C-Class.  The lastest releases from Slot.it are called C-Class and not 190E. See the yellow ProMarket (CA53a) car and the upcoming white Warsteiner car (CA54a). The original 190 releases are getting harder and more expensive to find. The only silver release (CA44c) I can find is on Ebay for $90.00 plus shipping. Are we going to include these cars?

Rico aka Chet

if it a slot it dtm car it is legal. Not counting rivets.  I must of copy  and pasted the wrong car. But the 330p4/412p is legal. Will have to have Bill edit the rule post

Great  turn out and the racing  was top notch.  John picked up the track pretty fast and at the end of the night looked like he been racing on it for years. Learned how to nerf with best of us. Even Bill showed up and was putting down some great  laps.  We missed you at the track tonight  Mitch  hope you see you in two weeks.
