If you want to race a light chassis with a lexan body then I would rather race a new parma flexi....cheap,easy to get parts...and i think more guys would race them....Dont get me wrong....I am all for building...I love to build new chassis and see what works and does not work....

I do really like the hard body cars....I am not much of a lexan fan.....

If we get rid of the iroc racing with naste next year....I hope we dont loose alot of people....with all the clubs now there is something for most everyone....fast scratch built 1/24 cars..........store bought 1/32 cars.....and naste.....where you can come and race and not need anything....

We need to put a vote on this site and at races and see what people would really like to race...and see how many would like to run a ready to race type of chassis....or build one from scratch....

Just from what I have heard and seen.....there are not alot of builders out there....and another thing to factor....if we go to store bought or scratch built........there is that cost...what ever it may be...then these people would also need to get controlelrs...there might be a loaner at some tracks...and they would have to buy extra parts,tools and other things that go with having nothing to begin with..
Lets put a vote out there and see in the next few months what everyone would like to do..
Thanks to bill for doing all the testing and people that come to the race this weekend will have a chance to test them out and see how these cars drive and handle...

Looks like the econo car and the parma FCR chassis are in the lead.........atleast the parma would be cheap to get....at $32...ready to run...all you need is a body.....as for the econo cars.....if that is the way we are going....I would be willing to set up some sort of assembly line to put a bunch of them together....

If we went with a ready to run chassis like the parma ,pro-trac or ej's....atleast everyone would be all in the same boat running the same cars...

The econo cars are pretty bullet proof.

Are there any model builders out there?

Any kit bashers?    I have lots of nascar kits that still have everything but the body,decals and glass....and lots of other kits that have parts for kit bashing....
If anyone is interested let me know and willing to trade for your stuff? or?....I am also looking for parts myself.

This is 1/24   or   1/25 scale stuff...

I like the sound of that.....I also like building some sort of 1/24 car...sort of like an econo car.....same sort of chassis....easy to build.....and run a 60's body on it.......like 1960's nascar..galaxy,daytona,chevelle...ect......and tuck the wheels inside....and get more to scale wheels and tires.......to look like a real car......

as for the  1/32 scale cars........i would like the carrera stock cars..........and the slot it would be nice also in  non mag form....................except  my slot it car is really damaged from the last series........lol......

Is there any interest also on any type of radio shack type of car?........just curious....

ECONO CARS.................. I am Putting a post out there for anyone who has a econo chassis that they do not use and would like to get rid of...

I was at Howies race tonight and there were some guys that want to get into the econo car class........

I know there are lots of these cars floating around out there.........that are not being used...and may never be used........if  you have one.....or know of someone who has one and want to sell it.......please let me know.....

It would be a great way to recycle the car.........I would normally just head out the the garage to build some......but my time now is very,very limited.....we had 15 racers out there...and  three guys showed up to watch...and are ready to buy cars and start racing!!!

Also we will have to pick a week night that would work out best for everyone who might be interested...some evening durring the week would work best...

Yes I had a great time ! Great track and lots of great people! Thanks for hosting ..The cars looked great and ran great also....I also agree about the slow guys....oh wait...that was us....

I was thinking about that after our meeting and I think you hit the nail on the head!

also I think we talked about start time...it use to be around 7pm....do you think maybe 6pm would be to early? or maybe 6:30? i know some people work on saturdays and getting to the race is an issue....if someone is comming late they can call and we can set them up to run later in a heat maybe?
Just wanted to toss that out there....=)

Any type of car as long as it is on the cheap side is good...and I like the idea of getting the bodies in white so we can all have different colors on the track...

All of those red ferrari's on the track was a little mind bending at times.... 

I think Im giong to have to sell my HO slot car collection.....most of it is afx.....lots of banded mib cars..... lots of very nice loose cars,lots of full carded stuf and some of the newer Jonhhy lightning cars.....if anyone is intrested let me know....im going to start putting things on ebay soon...
I might also have some afx track stashed away...
