Nice looking ride Rico. Bummer having to cancel the race. The Group "C" race is rescheduled for January 27th, 2024 replacing the 4 inch Flexi's. I have gotten a lot of feedback and have handed out a lot of bodies. I still have 3 Porsche 962 hardbodies left. Times are still the same.

As of 9/20/2023 all the slot cars listed are sold.

It is with a heavy and troubled heart that I have decided to suspend all events at Springwater Raceway. I must evaluate and consider the whole reason for the existence of the track. My hope and prayer has always been to provide an atmosphere of inclusion, no judgement and to exhibit the love of Christ to all who enter its doors. It has become apparent that I have failed in fulfilling this mission. Those of you who are of the family of God, I covet your prayers for God's wisdom regarding the future of the racetrack. God willing, this is not the end of Springwater Raceway. There are many other factors that I must consider before making a final decision. I want to personally thank everyone who has come to race in our events here. It has been my privilege and honor to serve each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God Bless.

The Patriot 500 was run today with 10 racers coming out to put their skills to the test. After 90 minutes of practice and prep time, the race fired off at 10am. As usual, anything that can happen, did happen, with close side-by-side racing, crashes and mechanical failures, which are always a part of racing at Springwater. A big "thank you" to Dennis and Craig for coming from the Seattle area to be a part of the event. Thank you, Teri and Pam, for bringing the pizza for lunch! Here are the final results:

The last race of the season at Springwater Raceway was, as Bill put it; Fantastic. A Warm and sunny day was the backdrop for a memorable day of racing. Pizza and snacks kept everyone's energy levels up (I think) along with some very close racing. Thanks to my wife, Teri, for getting and delivering the pizza. A special thanks to those who traveled from Bend, Eugene and Woodburn, which provided a full field of 12 racers. The final results reflect the commitment of this group of racers to providing help, encouragement and support to see that all racers finish the race.  Here ya go:

The NASCAR Flexi race at Springwater Raceway is June 3rd, 2023. This race is for the 4.5 inch chassis, using NASCAR car and truck bodies. The race will consist of 4 rounds / 4 minute heats. 2 rounds with cars and 2 rounds with trucks. It has been asked if the cars and trucks must use the same chassis all the way through. I need at least 12 racers to commit to racing before May 27th or the race will be cancelled. UPDATE: Was out of town on vacation and could update the list. The remaining gears are for sale at 8.00 each. Thank you to those who pre-ordered and paid in advance. It allowed the club to pay for them outright.

PASER Even Thursday featured PASER Trans Am cars at The Gorge Raceway. 5 Racers came to have an evening of fun, competition, cookies and coffee. The program consisted of 2 racers at a time going head-to-head, with 3 corner marshals, racing 2 - 4 minute heats for 2 rounds and 2 - 3 minute heats for 2 rounds. The side by side racing provided some great neck and neck battles all through the night. The final results show how well the racers are getting to know this tight twisty layout.
