What Bill said. Sorry we had to dash off but we had a timetable and were only a few minutes late.
Thank you Bill for hosting our Odd Thursday gatherings, I had a good time right up until the very end. I hope you all had a good time ribbing me for my misfortunes last time out, but I will let last night's performance speak for itself and in the words made famous by Rick Nueheisel "Score board, baby". CU all next time when we can take up our good natured bantering once again.

Yes, THANKS Monte for all the time and effort, it's good to be back.
A BIG THANKS to Bryan and Sherry for the opening round. I enjoyed the racing and didn't even totally stink at piloting the HO's for once. The cars were pretty awesome Bryan, well except for the green 55, but it kind of had a mind of it's own for everyone. I'm not sure how many times Dominic told me he won a heat but was clearly stoked about doing so. CU all at the next race.

Goose, your welcome and I'd say anytime but I might be lying. Seriously, I'd lend you a car again in the future, just not a good one. Thanks Bill for another fun filled night of racing, crashing, eating and bench racing.

I will try to be there unless plans change.
I hear he likes cheese to go with it. Just adding a little fuel to the fire :-) Any new features we should know about?
Here's a video link for the PDX event:

And one from Germany:
One more:
Enjoy!
.5 lap between the top 4, now that's some close racing!!
X3. What they said.
WOW, great job!
$19.95 US as the value of the Euro has declined substantially.
How many are you buying? I already have 2 Reprotec's at my disposal.
Great job guys!
Here's the link to the site:
A former co-worker used to attend this race and always tried to get me to go but we were never able to make it work. He always told me it was a blast but be advised poorly executed efforts (build quality and race craft) resulted in injury to racers and spectators alike.
Thanks for the racing last night Bill. Dominic and I had a great time and he can't wait to do it again.
Can Am had no rules, that's what made it so cool and also what killed it.
I assume the YELLOW Buick is for Monte's benefit???
Maybe...or it's just very rare and cool.
.................it seems to me you're FLAT OUT on EVERY track!!!!
Guilty as charged I'm afraid but in this case one could get away with it all day long.
While on vacation last week we stopped by the LeMay Museum on the way home. It has four levels of cars and has some very interesting exhibits. If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit. I only managed a few pics:

This A1 Grand Prix car bought back some memories for those who raced at Beaverton Slot Car Club
And of course the slot car track:
The track is very cool but I would not recommend spending the money to race on it as they have the voltage very low and I was flat out the entire track, not much fun.
They were in a different class due to the big block, but they did win their race due to first place dropping out or finishing the race one lap too early by mistake, no one was really sure which.
I just stumbled across this while surfing:
Your inner car enthusiast will squirm at the sight of this, but your inner child will rejoice. Yes, this re-purposed 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will be cause for some trying internal debate.
Sporting a replica of Watkins Glen International raceway appropriate for slot cars sprawled over the full-size Camaro’s hood, passenger compartment and trunk, slot car racers will have the time of their lives battling 1/32-scale Ford Mustangs, Dodge Challengers and Chevy Camaros through the Glen’s 11 turns.
Offered for sale by retailer Hammacher Schlemmer for the price of $85,000, the unique slot car track is made from hand-carved wood and features two lanes to race the 12 accompanying slot cars. Meanwhile, the full-size machine wears Penske Trans-Am livery that replicates the 1969 Camaro Mark Donohue raced.
Well thanks for having us, I had a quite enjoyable time crashing.
