Going  to be another nail biters championship with the top two tied and only three rounds left do we have a repeat of a few seasons back were it cam down to the very last race and heat  were  Al won by one point to take the Championship or can Doc turn the table  and be the one that squeezes  the points lead from  Al and hoist the naste cup high in the air one more time.. only time and some well placed pribes will tell. See you all Thursday.

Interesting  testing with the production cars. I tested with both foam  and rubber tires and found for the most part  the cars handled better  with the rubber tires  found the foams had to much bite and would chatter and roll out in the corners if pushed to hard. On a plus side there was no need to clean the tires between heats. Need to bring a lint roller on next race and see what that does. The best handling car  out of my lot was the revo slot but the stock 21k motor was not up to the big sweeper and straightway. A 25k motor would  help a lot. The 908 had a 22.5 nsr and  it worked out well. The two thunderbolts  had 25 k ball bearing motors.

I think I have few cars that will work.

It was my wife Brithday so I had choice of racing or find a new place to store my stuff and lay my head down. I be there for sure next race......

Factory wiring and grub screw. Tossed and installed new wire and eyelets .broken wire should be behind me hopefully. I have 5 more races to to try and get the lead back From Al. Going be tough he has fast cars and driving perfect heats. Going need to put a voodoo  hex on him

My bad luck  followed  me from Howies.2nd heat broke a guild wire.fixed it for the 3 rd heat broke the other guild wire. Just not my night..

Vroom  Vroom.  It racing time...

It was a rough night. Thanks for the loner Howie. I was just starting to get  the hang of the track till I was cleaned out under the bridge. Look like I need to fire up the solder iron and the paint booth and build a car.

I was busy putting in a new hot water heater.  I. E out next time.

Great night of racing, good turn out. There was three different  winners. Had a new racer join the fun. Rico race report will break down all the details.

Reminder Gt3 with new rule set is to be run for the 1st time Thursday for points. Make sure you bring the correct  car. I'll  have a few well tuned spares  for those that forget... Rico......

Nice report.

Looks like it was a fun time for all. Looks like I missed out once again

Once again great night of Racing. Good to see some old faces  out running  with us again. Will wait for our  race reporter to give those  that didn't  make it out the full break down of the night action and attendance.  Thanks Al for providing  A place for us old kids to play with our  Toy cars.

It is all the way down and packed away
had to make room in the garage for storage when I did the downstairs remodel.
I never put the table back up or the track
I had planned on building a table that I could fold up and make room in the garage, but Wife turned garage into her personal junk collection, And I been too lazy to clean it up.

I have all my stuff from my track your can come over and see what you want I don't have any plans on putting it back up anytime soon

Yes it legal maybe you have  better luck getting it to go fast. I put same set up as on the Viper  but 2 to 3 tenths slower

There b smell of high octane  fuel and gear grease hanging in the air must be race night

Race report 11/7/24 race. 6 brave souls battled the Portland traffic to do battle on Al's Rippen riding raceway.
The racers that made the drive
Daniel "Doc'
Al "meat "
Rico "cheat".
Doug "the Destroyer"
Mitch   "the Mitch"
David the just
Up 1st was classic Lemans and Doc somehow took the win over Rico and Al 3rd.Up next was Revo slot, one off for Doc was all Al needed to take his Second in a roll points race Doc crossed the line 2nd, 3/4 lap back followed by Ricco. Next was open and we loss half the crew so track call were in order. It was a very very very close Batlle with all three cars battling side by side for multiple laps.  But Doc did the best job staying in the slot to take the win with Rico 2nd then Al.  Up next in two weeks is slot dtm and slot it/ Policar Classic. Can Doc or anybody knock Al off the top step or will he continue his dominant points run.......

Knock knock?

Crap Crap Crap. Totally  spaced these race off. Was all got up in the world  series  and forgot  these was on the schedule..
