Thanks to Howie for providing us a place to race. Also a big thank you Dennis, Ted and Howie for helping piece my car together so I l could even make the race. It was pretty awful for the first round. I made some changes which really helped for the second and third rounds until the axle got bent but even with an axle change it was never quite the same.

Rico
Thank you so much Bob for all the hard work that you put into hosting the race today. My car ran pretty well when it wasn’t broken, thanks again Bob, Gear loose and Ted for the help in repairing it.

Rico
I don't have a spare DiFalco but I do have a older Omni Cidex that I could loan out. Not super fancy but dependable.
I just found them. Page 3 of the photo gallery: Disasters and other remedies.
If you're into meltdowns, there's always Jack's infamous paint oven experiment. I sure wish I could find the pics of it. I just know they are on the forum somewhere, but a search revealed nothing.
Amen, let’s get racing again
I agree, and better keep that day job too.
I just want to thank Howie, Bill, Beau and Bob for taking the time to help others at the chassis class yesterday, it is much appreciated. I'm glad to have learned some knowledge and to have another econo/sportsman chassis that I can race.
Thanks again guys

Kind of like me and the shed I’m attempting to build
Interesting project Doc. Looks to work pretty well.
You’ve been busy, nice job.
I was bored last night and dug out my CanAm cars. A fairly diverse field and I didn't realize I had so many. Truthfully there's probably a few more that could be included.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance. That goes for you too Doc

Good luck on the project Doc

My latest Ebay finds: Scalextric Lister LMP, unusual street car Scalextric Camaro with working headlights and modified Fly BMW 3 series. I haven't fired up the track and ran any of them yet. I've been busy tearing down an old dog kennel in the back yard and building a shed. I did manage to scratch my arm and leg on the rusty rabbit wire and have to go get a tetanus shot. :-(
I think we all a a few cars that fall in the same category, I know I do
Much thanks to Bob and Howie for hosting and organizing the series. I took some weight out of my car and lowered the body for yesterday’s race because I thought the extra weight was slowing me down after Howie’s race but I may need a gear ratio change after yesterday’s results. Thanks again for a fun series.

Thanks to Howie for hosting today’s race, always a good time at Rapid Raceway. My car was too heavy to be truly competitive, but I am reasonably happy it lasted the entire event.

That seems rather violent, wouldn’t it be much easier to put it ON the track instead of in it.
