The big news at Al's Rippin' Ridin' Raceway on Thursday nights is; where did this guy come from? Zack Morgan is comin' guys! He may be new to the group but he has figured out how to make his cars handle, and his driving skills are rapidly improving! Although Zack had an impressive victory in the Trans Am Class race, Al showed he can still deliver the goods in the Classic Sports Car II race for the points. It was a fun night of racing. Fernando and Jeff (Bernie) Burns were back and it was good to see them back on the track. We also welcomed in a new comer, Mark to the group. Hope to see you at more races Mark!

Good to see Fernando back!
Race host Al with Mark.
Thanks for the report Bill!
Thanks Al for another fun night of racing!
Zack
Double from me
Had a great time as well. Thanks for always being a such a gracious host. I have to say the highlight was watching Kuba run some of slot.it cars into the 5's. But the racing was amazing too!
Zack
5's huh? If I tried hard I might be able to build a car that fast, but I could never drive it that fast.
Fantastic work guys on both the building and the driving.

Thanks Mitch, we were able get both my Mclaren m8 and my Matra into the 5.9s. The fastest I could get out of either was a 6.1. Chris has that killer fast trigger!
Zack
Yeah, fun night- despite the classes being F1 and GT3. I really need to buff out an F1 and replace my heap of a GT3.
Tip of the hat to Zack though. He has built a crazy smooth fleet of cars, and while it may sound challenging, after a few minutes I was able to crack into the 5's pretty much at will. They are CRAZY fast and super smooth. He has certainly figured out the tuning game. What a fun fleet to flog around the track! Thanks for the loan!

Thanks for compliments Chris, it was my pleasure to watch you run some crazy fast laps!
Zack
Don't you guys dare team up! We won't stand a chance!
Maybe a fair bit Doc.
Most of my cars are quick enough for the classes they run in but I'm losing ground in the corners, so I've been reading through volumes of post and trying suggestions for making them smoother that I've found. I've been able to shave some 10ths off of some cars on my track but I don't know how it will work out on race nights.
I do however have a Ninco XK120 turning faster laps than a slot it GT40 set up with the same specs. So that's something at least.
I'd just as soon not
The Camel was yesterday.
I thought I left the Camel downstairs

Smoke 'em if you got 'em. Looks like you got 'em.
Missed you tonight.
Had to work swing shift this week.
