Looks like 2nd and 5th to me?
Fernando was going to run his Ninco until Monte offered his Thunderslot. I believe that Fernando has been taken by the dark side now.
Monte, I've been working on building a car that could compete against the Thunderslot. After driving Chris's I realized how far yet I have to go. I haven't given up though. When I ordered a new car I also ordered extra wheels and tires for my scratchbuilds.
Happy New Year Doc, and to all the rest of you former Rug Racers too.
Doc, I put that chassis under my CLK, and with a Flat 6 motor it was about as fast as the 956s and 962s, but with the body being heavier I couldn't get thru the curves as quick as the other guys, but that might be my driving style. Without Goose or Monte to lean on I had to go slower.
I took it apart so many times trying to get that extra little something out of it that I eventually broke the chassis. By then the body post were stripped and broken and in a moment of trying to clean the work bench it got tossed.
Best $8 eBay purchase I ever made even though I spent countless $$$ trying to make it go faster than it was ever meant to be.
Or Saturday night...

Hey Al. Did leave my controller at your place. Got home and it was not in my box thanks
Yes you did Doc
The racer previously known has Doc will be Will be address with the #2nd from this day forward.I hope this does not confuse any body or make them think any less of me. THIS is only a expression of creatively and is not to be confused with the fact that I can't buy a win.
Somebody has to be the FIRST LOSER Doc.........I mean #2!..........you do realize that is the same designation as poop, right?
Al, thanks for the racing last night! It was great to see all my friends and to meet some new racers!
you do realize that is the same designation as poop, right?
Maybe we should call him "Doc Deuce"?
Hang on... I just realized that's not much better!
Thanks for an excellent night of racing. If the wire on The Deuce's Camaro hadn't had an issue, he would have easily taken top slot in TA last night. He was off fetching another car for at least a lap or two and I only beat him by a tenth. He'll be tough to beat when TA comes around for points!
Hey Al. Did leave my controller at your place. Got home and it was not in my box thanks
It seems to be contagious...
When I got home last night, I did a bit of a scrub of the house. Guess what I found? Yes, in a place where it was totally not supposed to be, I found my DiFalco.
All is right with the world now.
Thanks for an excellent night of racing!
Memory really is the last part of guy to go soft.
But they light the corners of my mind. Misty watercolor memories...
And she's still a wonderful singer.
Well who want to be Captain Jean-Luc Picard from star trek. I'm a shoe in for Cmdr. William Rike, make it so number 2.
Another awesome Odd Thursday Night of racing at Al's Ripin' Ridin' Raceway!

Incredibly close racing!
Well I had the best knife tonight. only one problem, it was a gun fight.
I had a great time tonight! I got to see a bunch of my slot racing friends and get in a couple races thanks to folks lending me cars and controllers! Having not been very active racing lately I was really impressed with how the racers in the group have progressed. The racing is closer now than it has ever been, and there are many racers capable of winning races in any of the classes! This is great! Thanks Al!

Close racing at Rippin' Ridin' Raceway last night! The top three from the last Can Am race repeated for podium finishes with Al taking his second consecutive point series race win, and this one counts! The lead off race for the night was for the F1 Class where Doc posted the win with a one lap lead over Goose.
Thanks to Al for some excellent racing and a good supply of snacks and drinks! Thanks to all the racers that provided MORE snacks!

That was a fun night. Looks like I'll need to source a Ford GT. And no, it won't be red and white. ;-)
I thought I took it home but I guess it's possible. I'm out of town through Sun but will check when I get back.
Good racing last night. I had a great couple heats side by side with Al, and the competition up and down the field is pretty tight!
