OK, who's bringin' what????
The hot dog machine will be there....
I'll most likely stop at Winco and pick-up their chicken dinner special and of course a bag of RedVines.
Great job Bill. Thanks for getting this started and for the email you sent out.
Thanks Bryan for the hotdogs and Rico for the chicken.
I'll be bringing cookies and candy and if I have enough time, some kind of finger food too. Working on a batch of regular rum balls also and hoping to have them at the race.
Ohhhhhhhh, things are looking good for another outrageous NASTE Halloween race!!!!!
We'll bring something. I'll leave that to Victoria. Any requests?
Mmmmmm; a big nice thick juicy steak comes to mind!
Now you're talkin'! I'll bring a steak knife!!!
I'll bring the steak sauce. Howie, you should have been at Ribs'n'Racing.
Should I bring chips and soda?
If so, any requests?
Looks like it'll just be Todd and I this year. Russ and Thomas have a school dance to go to.
Also, will homemade silicon tires work on Howie's track?
Oh, they'll work but I'd guess it's just a question of how well.
Hey, it's the Halloween Race..............how well do they need to work??????
I'm just trying to avoid buying new foam tires and thought I'd give it a try. Would it do better than semi-dry foam then?
I would run them Tracy. I think they will work fine. If anything you might get too much bite and they won't slide at all.
Anyway, that's been my experience with silicons on Howie's track. Mitch had some on his car and it hooked up pretty well.

Hey! Sounds like it's shaping up nicely. I just sent out an email reminding people about the race and giving them the link to this thread so they could see who is bringing what.
You are still bringing silverware and plates Bill?
Hot dog machine Bryan? Does that include the hot dogs and buns?
Nice Rico. Looking forward to a chicken leg!
Ribs Monte? Did I read that right?!?! Ribs instead of steak? Wonderful! Those were so good at the Ribs and Racing!
Thanks Tracy. We'll miss the terrible two, but glad to see you and Todd there. You know my view on chips. And really! Worrying about tires on a FUN, NO Point Counting Race?!? Run NO tires and see how that works.
Terry said I was going to have to run a car that's already been run, but he made me a NEW one! How cool is that!!! Thanks honey!!
Okay. I'm done. Thanks everyone for what you are bringing! Looks like we're going to have a feast again this year!
YES, I've got the silverware/plasticware and paper plates! ==========Bill
Well, you guys all know how my cars turn out. I'm just trying to be cheap and not by new tires that'll only get run one night; while still being able to climb the hill and not slide off the banked corner.
Ok, guess I'll bring a couple bags of chips unless there's something else needed.
That is a very good point!!! You need tires good enough to keep you up in the bank!!
I think your silicons will do the job!!!
yes hot dog machine... hot dogs, buns ketchup and mustard
Who could ask for anything more????
Thanks Bryan!!!!
Thanks Bryan!!
My sister is coming and bringing some ghoulish treats she says.
See you all in a couple of hours!
Yes, yes, yes!!!!
Thank you Howie for supplying the track for our Annual Halloween Race!! Fantastic time! Great food! Thanks to everyone who brought something to share!
Racing was fast and furious or slow and luxurious depending on which car you were racing. So many wonderful designs. We sure do have some talented people in NASTE.
Here are the pictures from last night. http://s737.photobucket.com/user/SlotCa … een%202014
Will get the video up later. I think I'll leave out the one video Bill took of my below waist area. You were trying to take a picture of the Hammer Two, but I had left my camera on video. When you found out, you set the camera down on the podium where I was racing and the camera was still on. It recorded some nice conversations, but was only filming my red pants, so really not usable.
Thanks again everyone for such a terrific night of food, fun and racing. Judging by the photos, it was a much more relaxed and fun evening compared to normal NASTE racing.
Great pictures Dorothy! The red pants video is the reason I am NOT the official photographer!!!
Another terrific NASTE Halloween Race!!!! Can't wait until next year!!!
This was a common expression worn by racers throughout the night:
Rico's Red Green Van was back this year, this time drivin by June to a 9th place finish. It hauled this year!
Perry brought out this chop, channelled, sectioned, and burnt(?) pumkin thingie.....He finished 16th with it.
