Topic: First Sunday Series - April - No Foolin'

A pleasant group of 11 racers came to the Point this past Sunday to do battle with the NC-5 powered cars from Ninco.  Many others were probably still suffering their Saturday night NASTE hangover.  And in the first set it was Rico rocking to a near-perfect first set and a total of 51 points.  Monte was just behind with a total of 50 after losing a heat to the previous night's winner Terry.  But in the second set the Big Smooth pulled it together and got a 15 lap heat on White.  It was the first 15 lap heat of the day.  He then ran another 15 lap heat in the yellow lane and I think that is a Sunday first for the NC-5 cars.  A big thanks to Victoria for another excellent pot of soup and of course Dorothy's famous chocolate recipes.  Nothing like a First Sunday.

Thanks again to Monte and Victoria for another fun day of racing and food.  The soup was the first decent meal I'd had in two days, so much appreciated.  15 in yellow? WOW, great job Mr. Saager.  Also, thanks for getting me out early, I made it to the wedding with time to spare.  See ya next month, well make that Tuesday.

Thanks for another Great Sunday of racing Monte! You were in super form and WOW! on those 15 lap races. That's very impressive! I'd like to think those cheesecake bites had something to do with your win, but I know you did so well only because you're such a fine racer. Loved the hat too! ;>}

Victoria, that soup was fabulous. Sorry you didn't have much for leftover lunch, but I had to have a second bowl of it. Thanks so much for a fine meal.

Glad you made it to the wedding on time Rico.

Didn't take many pictures as I was helping/hindering the racers trying to put cars back on the track. Great fun though and hopefully we'll see you in May too!
