Re: NASTE Odd Thursday Night Racing Rules & Current Thread

Well we had Bill sighting at the track and he dragged Bart out with him. Racing again was  very tight. Up 1st was sports car one and we had a new face at the top of the step with Jeff running three mistake free heats and a fast car to boot to take the win.Up next was the money   race and Doc came out and with vengeance  from the last two race nights and got the win Over Bill and Ricco taking third.  And Al taking another big points hit coming in fourth. . Up next was open we lost three racers so track calls were used for these race and Al car was hooked up and flying as he took the easy win over doc and ricco in third. Great night and thanks for hoisting.

I most likely will miss the race tomorrow. Kelly is in surgery right now having a small cancerous spot removed on her lower eye area and is scheduled for reconstruction surgery tomorrow

Re: NASTE Odd Thursday Night Racing Rules & Current Thread

We have one more  odd Thursday  race under our belts. Turn  out was low with a few or die hands not able to make it out. We did have Stan and Greg me it out along with David  so we just had enough  to have a race. Up 1st was Lemans and Doc took the win  followed  by Al then  Stan. Up next was Can Am and it was not a pretty race. With every body pushing to hard or having mechanical  issues.  Some how I ended up taking the win with Greg in 2nd and Al in 3rd that was it for the night  racing

Re: NASTE Odd Thursday Night Racing Rules & Current Thread

Well racers if you missed last night racing you missed out on some very tight and competitive  racing . We had 7 racers make it out To Al's, and from the 1st heat to the  last heat of the night ever race was a battle to the end. Every body  had there  a game and you  had to drive every lap  hard.  There was no sandbagging to be had these night. Even so it was reported multiple  times that  Al's  Le Mans  car was  leaving a sand trail  on the track after earlier  in the night  he reported is car sucked a$$.  Have to wait for the results but it was close finishes all through the field. Thanks Al for a great night of racing.and yes I earned my nick name the duec  last night

Doc is correct, an intense evenly balanced night of racing. Oh what fun!! Not a good night to have a lead wire come out of the guide in the points race :-(

Well racers it looks like the points season is coming to a close with only one more race to go next Thursday the 7th.  Most of the battles up top are pretty much done and settled with a few ties further down that the list that need worked out and then we go into the summer schedule. So with that said time to start thinking what we want to race next year. bring your list check it twice and voice what you want to run... see you all on the 7th...try not loose  any fingers come the 4th..

Well the last odd  Thursday  point race is in the books and a new champion  has taken the top step on the podium.  We only had 6 guys make it out to do battle. Up 1st was lmp and doc drew 1st blood and won going away.  Up next was Lemans and Doc keep is winning  ways  and capped of the championship with a win.it was long night of racing with us running the gt3 proxy. I Do not remember  all the finishing  orders so will have to wait till they are posted.  On a sad note.  These was Jeff  last race with us. He is off to Colorado. I'm sure is travels will bring him out our ways a few times. So not a good bye but see you again Jeff.till then keep the sunny side up and the rubber on the track.

I know it is late notice, but I am going to stop by Al's tonight with a big box of used cars I'd like to sell. Cars are $10 to $15 each, most are complete runners. I'm shooting to be there by 4:00pm, but I have to leave early.
