Zack, I'm never ultimately disappointed racing in Tacoma. The only really negative thing was a couple of years ago with a lighting issue, and I doubt that will come up again. As I said, if we expect to have some kind of "issue," we won't be surprised if there IS one. And at any rate, the worst day slot racing beats the best day of almost anything else! Even if it's just you, me and Chris, we'll have fun!
The classes we will be running for the Point Series Championship 2020 will be :
Classic Sports Car 1
LeMans
Carrera DTM
LMP
Great choices, should be a very competitive year for all.
With regard to the Carrera DTMs, are they going to be raced stock, or will there be mods allowed? I would prefer stock, since I'm cheap...
Yup. Pretty much stock.
Reminder: The NASTE IROC race that was scheduled for 8/17 has been moved to 8/24

I had my usual good time racing last night, thanks Al. The racing was pretty close in both classes, well except for Zack who was in a race by himself.

Even with the light turnout I had a great time.

Al said he was going to work on a schedule. He also said we may postpone one more race before starting points, which I don't have a problem with since people are still getting cars together.

No magnets for you Mitch ! On 9/19/19 we will run CanAm and LMP. The Point Series Championship races will start on 10/3/19. There will not be a race on 10/17/19. I'm planning on racing on 10/31/19 Halloween night unless some of you object. Thoughts ?

great night of racing. I think that 1st round of cam am cars was some of the best side by side racing we have every had running At Al's.. that one heat between me and Rico was a photo finish after 3min of not blinking racing. to bad we did not get that on film....... next race is a for the points, see you all in two weeks.....
