I was looking forward to racing today. I resoldered my Sportsman chassis and narrowed the front axle some more along with a new motor. I also transformed my truck from a 4x4 to a low rider in an effort to make it handle better. I hadn’t noticed how high the chassis rode but thanks to Bill for pointing it out. Sadly a change in plans has made it difficult for me to make it today

Thanks everyone for a fantastic race yesterday, surprised to finish in 7th with the chassis and lane issue in the blue lane. Always a great time racing at Rapid Raceway.

I'm ready early for once. I completed my car yesterday.  Only thing to do is wait and maybe a change of tires.

Howie, thanks for hosting another fun day of racing. It was good close racing through out.

I still have some detail work to do but it's coming along. Hopefully I will be better prepared for this race than for the Rapid 500.

Thanks to Howie for providing us a place to race. Also a big thank you Dennis, Ted and Howie for helping piece my car together so I l could even make the race. It was pretty awful for the first round. I made some changes which really helped for the second and third rounds until the axle got bent but even with an axle change it was never quite the same.

Thank you so much Bob for all the hard work that you put into hosting the race today. My car ran pretty well when it wasn’t broken, thanks again Bob, Gear loose and Ted for the help in repairing it.

I don't have a spare DiFalco but I do have a older Omni Cidex that I could loan out. Not super fancy but dependable.

I just found them. Page 3 of the photo gallery: Disasters and other remedies.

If you're into meltdowns, there's always Jack's infamous paint oven experiment.  I sure wish I could find the pics of it. I just know they are on the forum somewhere, but a search revealed nothing.

Nicely done sir

Amen, let’s get racing again

Well done guys

I agree, and better keep that day job too.

I just want to thank Howie, Bill, Beau and Bob for taking the time to help others at the chassis class yesterday, it is much appreciated. I'm glad to have learned some knowledge and to have another econo/sportsman chassis that I can race.

Thanks again guys
