Lets not forget the 2NASTE is now eligible for the 962 challenge and readily available.
These are one of my absolute favorite cars to run!

Hey guys, I am working on trying to get my garage sorted out so we could maybe host a night race over there soon.
I have a couple challenges to overcome before this can happen. But I am hoping before the cold winter months it is an option.
I want to emphasize that I think it is important here to respect those who open up their homes for us to race. I want to race as much as the next guy but it really isn't up to what we are comfortable with at this point. It is up to the track owners and their families and we have to respect that.
That said, starting next month there will be 3 weeks in a row of fast paced 1/24 racing going on. So now might be the time to try your hand at that!
Zack
Alright guys I have 10 rear axle brackets done up. Only took me scrapping 4 to get that many!
I have two kits for Monte to send out, I know Bill needs 1 or 2? I think Bob has a list of the others who need replacement or in stock kits. I have notified him as well.

Hey guys, just a update for those of you who have been waiting on the axle brackets.
I have been going rounds with the company I ordered the parts from. With COVID, the size of the order etc. they have not been very easy to deal with.
So yesterday I went ahead and ordered 20 brackets cut, which I intend to jig and bend myself to get the remaining kits sorted out. Right now they are scheduled to be shipped around the 9th of this month, and I hope to complete them within 14 days of receiving them.
I am also pricing out a second run of these kits with some other manufacturers at this time, as there has been some outside interest in them.
ALSO:
I will be testing a heavyweight chassis for our open classes.
I will have 5 Titanium H-plates also available if you wish to try running your chassis in one of the Non-spec series. They will run about $12 each.
Thanks guys,
Zack
Looking good Bill, I can't wait to relearn the hardest track for me in the NW.......
Zack
If you want to borrow one of my cars to copy. I can loan you my spare!
Zack
Sorry I missed this one.
Congrats to Bob N. for taking home the hardware. Looking forward to another shot at it next year!
Zack
Thanks Bill, it was a lot of fun while it lasted.
Hopefully next season will be another hard fought battle!
Zack
Wow dang!
Wish we could have finished the battle, it was a close one. Thanks guys.

I had a great time overall at my first race at Tom's world.
I just qualified in to the A-main, after not being able to really throw down a good lap.
My first 5 heats went much better than expected, with a 29 lap average I was sitting 5th just behind the really fast guys.
Then on round 2 lane 2, I hook up my controller incorrectly for the second time ever and cause a hell of a smoke show. Bob N let me borrow his, but the new boards just don't feel the same and I couldn't adapt at the pace we were running without causing myself or others harm.
Bob N held his own for only have the morning to practice. His car was a little tight but he kept it in the slot for the most part.
Bill Bostic was FAST! But he had a few more problems keeping the car in the slot. I think with some more practice he will be a real contender.
I was happy with my pace for my first time at the track, just made a stupid mental error.....always next time.

Hey guys, I have a late model sportsman car to sell. I bought this at the beginning of the season and have since built a couple of my own. So I am hoping this finds a home with someone who will use it!
It is a very early car, and is .063" brass instead of .092" like the later cars. That said, it has been lead tuned all the way up to 231g and was the chassis i used to score a 3rd place overall finish in this class this year. It works well.
Just add rear tires, motor, and interior and you are set to jet.
$80 dollars w/body.

Are there any carpool plans yet for the trip to Tom's? I can drive but I now only own one full size extra seat and a cubby for a couple close friends..........
I am planning go over there on Friday. So I will probably be going on my own. I am not sure what John, Ted, and Stuart have planned but I know they are all going...
Zack
I'm planning to come by too Bob.
Bill
Wow a Bill sighting in the wild. Now I AM excited!
Zack
Thanks for making this track time available to us Bob, I will be there!
Zack
It is what it is fellas. We race in other people homes, and it is important now more than ever to respect everyones comfort level with all that is going on.
I am sure Al would love to have a race night, but if he can't open his doors and have himself and his wife feeling safe in doing so. Then it is best to wait.
There are opportunities to race elsewhere, and this may be the prime time to build your own track and have some people over!
Zack
Looks like a good start Rico!

I have been slowly getting this car together with the intent of testing it for the Dale Earnhart memorial race at Tom's coming up.
I drove one of the Stewarts cars at the team race a few months back, and it drove so well I decided to do one with a very similar design. I only changed a few little things because I used a different guide tongue.
The decals for this body were old and tough to deal with, but with some hot water I got them to work alright.
Last night in installed my new Tachometer Ted powerplant, and set some bearings. Anywho, here she is basically ready to test!
Zack
Just so this remains updated here. I have nearly finished packaging all of the first 28 cars for delivery (I am purchasing 2).
As will all slot car kits, there may be some minor tuning up needed. I may add even more material to the H-plate next go around, but these are still a huge increase in strength over the original Scholer cars.

Looking good Mitch!

I also have a McFarland built Ferrari that can be run!

Have all of Bad Bob's cars been picked off now? Ted was interested in a few of those.
Dennis, I know he already bought one of the nascars.
Zack
So that’s what the front of it looks like
Hahaha thanks Rico. You did very well in the Can Am portion of the season!
