Supre car and a great runner.
Whoever ran for me in the GT class can run for me again!
Hey all, it looks like Alan is planning a race weekend extravaganza for the first weekend in November.
I'm interested in making a weekend of it since we have a First Sunday race here. Who's interested in going along for Saturday? Or Friday evening even?
Here's the info:
The 7th Annual Scaleracing National Final will be held Nov 1st-2nd at 132Slotcar Raceway
Schedule is Friday night Nov 1st.
Slot.it Group C
Scaleracing LMP Open.
We will open the track all day Friday for practice for those that can take off early.
Racing will start at 7.00PM.
Saturday Nov 2nd
BRM Group C Sprints.
Scaleauto Sprints.
Plus BRM 917 IROC .
Scaleracing Endurance Final.
4 Hour Endurance race with 2 Hours BRM Group C and 2 hours Scaleauto GT. 2 driver Teams only!!!
Entry fee $50.00 per Team pre enter. Includes all races Friday and Saturday, but only if you Pre Enter.
On the day:
Friday $10.00 per race.
Saturday $10.00 per race for Sprints.
Endurance $25.00 per Team.
So if you are coming pre enter and all racing is $50.00 split between the 2 drivers, or $25.00 for the complete weekend of racing.
We welcome all even those without cars, if you pre enter and need a car we will gladly build one for you $5.00 per car rental fee. You are responsible for any breakage.
See you at the Races.
Thanks to team Locati, we had a great time! The food was fantastic and Victoria had a full board going at the game table.
The kid was fast. Maybe too fast. ;-)
Thanks to Bill for another fun night. I really enjoyed the donuts. Perhaps too much!
Wild? After last night my car still won't come out of the box.
That looks great. Give him a spot on the NASTE schedule.
Wow, very nice!
Thanks for hosting another fun night. We had a great time.

The old 20,000RPM motor was geared 8-27 (3.38). The newer 13,000RPM motor is geared 9-25 (2.78). The old crown is white/clear plastic with a brass pinion. The new crown is grey plastic with a blue nylon pinion. The Fangio (#0910) and Moss (#0911) W196 and the Godia (#0920) and Fangio (#0921) Maserati and the two Kurtis-Offenhauser (#0930) and (#0931) are the only ones with the old gearing and motor. If you do want/need to re-gear, Slot it pinions with the offset crown will work. The standard crown creates a lot of noise. You need to open the crown clearance in the chassis just a little to fit the Slot it crown. Axle is 48mm x 3/32 inch.
Howdy all.
I've been researching my Cartrix F1 cars and thought I would post some of the best info.
Enjoy and I hope you find it useful.
Bill's new Corvette
So Bill, how did the repair hold up and work?
The more I think about this the more I come to the conclusion that two classes will be the best choice.
The first class will be for pre-64 cars using spec BWA motors and tires no wider than a typical Ninco Classic. The second class will be for more modern F1 cars like the Scaley legends set and probably some Fly cars and a few others. I'm probably going to start this as a secondary class on First Sundays. I should soon have enough Cartrix to field a complete race. Swapping them to the BWA motor. I'll keep you posted on progress. The test case is going to Bill's Thursday night, come give it a try if you like.
And to get in the spirit...
And thank to Bill for hosting a great event. As stated we ate until we could eat no more and then didn't let that stop us.
Ya know, if we built 10 cars in a production line fashion... I can adjust the body screws!
And that's a nice set of Scaley F1's you'll be getting too!
Just checking... it may not be just me.
How large a table? ;-)
Sure like to see that.
C'mon Rico, take the day off and chill. Spent the weekend playing with digital cars. Enjoyed every minute!
Looks like a good time to me, I hope we can make it!
So yesterday in anticipation of our next big race in little more than a week's time daughter Jessica came over and helped me install a series of 4 jumpers on the digital track. It was quite the effort considering the heat in the garage was well over 100. The end result is that power around the track has been significantly improved and smoothed.
But wait, there's more!
You may or may not have heard that my rally buddy from Seattle Mike Daily and I have been working on some digital products. The first one just about due for release will be in display at the race. In use actually. Our new controller for the SCX Digital System - the RamJet-X! I believe you will find it quite the improvement over the standard units we have used in the past. I'll be most excited to hear your feedback.
Now if I can just figure out what to do with the 50 new trees Victoria has constructed...
We look forward to seeing you all at our Ribs'n'Racin' Spectacular just about 10 days away.

Looks great but what about the underside?
Thanks for having us over, we had a great time!
