The service from the DS factory is Alan at 132slotcar.us.  He has parts.  They are after all a European mfg while the rest are US companies.  I've had mine quite a while and the only issue I have seen is once when the trigger got sticky and wouldn't return all the way.  Thought at the moment I had lost the brake circuit but no.  So I haven't lost a brake circuit yet but neither do I use mine much with vintage 1:24 cars with old-style motors.

However I have run Enduro's of 50 minute heats using Scale Auto and BRM 1:24's with no issue at all.

They are also the only controller I know of with adjustable trigger tension.

It's quite possible they are not really rated for those motors hence the problem with the brake circuits

I find them an excellent controller for 1:32.

And I will say this, it's the fastest off the line controller I have ever had and I usually take off first in just about every heat.  Always nice to be in the lead for at least a few feet.  smile

Wonderful.  Looking forward to it.  Does the track have a name?

And I'll remind you!

Thanks Bill, always a wonderful time.

I have a stack too, some way more powerful than slot car magnets.  Let me know if you still need more.

This sounds great.  Are we running the Slot.it Porsches?  What about controllers?  And where did your magnet work best on the Trans Am car?

Looks like a great one for the F1 Vintage class.  Or is it the Classic Class?  One of 'em.

Looks good Doc.  I've got a chip on the way from Scaley via my favorite pusherman.

Mitch, I think he's planning to open early so it may be possible to avoid the horrors of the drive-time carnage.  Maybe DocDoom will chime in here.

I stopped in to visit the good doctor last night.  Had a great time running cars and chatting.  It's a fun track though it does have a little learning curve - no pun intended.  Think I'll build up a car for racing there.  Slot.It Can Am - gonna use an Alfa.

The plan is for some of the Seattle guys to come down next Monday for a little racing.  Let's see if we can get a few of us over there too.

Tires:

Fly Porsche 906
Fly Ferrari 250LM

It's my only two stock Fly's...

This will all be surmised somewhere?  I need a new car.  May have to contact Tony about his new brand.

I'll be there!  Track looks great!

Are loaners available?  Do you have classes you race?  Tell us more.

I think the Sloters are lighter as well.  Ok, I'll leave them in the box.

If you can find them.  May be a problem with many of the cars beyond recently new.

Probably no choice.  I don't think the Fly wheels will fit a slot.it axle.

As long as we are including both Scaley and Fly can we include the Sloter cars, they fit the era perfectly.

Slot.It makes a kit for just this purpose.  Bushings, wheels, axles, gears.  highly recommended.

How about some results!

The new Slot.it C Class got off to a rousing start and as suspected there was no car repair afterwards like there is with the Ninco's.  Here's the results:

1.  Goose - 47.9 laps
2.  Tracy - 46.2
3.  Monte - 46.1
4.  Al - 45.7
5.  Bill - 45.2
6.  Mitch - 45.1
7.  Jeff - 44.3
8.  Amy - 44.2
9.  Victoria - 42.6
10.  Myron - 40.3
11. Betty - 39.2

And in the second set, it was IROC Slot.it's featuring two Alfa 33's and a Chaparral 2E (with the wing mostly).

1.  Monte - 47.0
2.  Goose - 46.9
3.  Jeff - 45.2
4.  Mitch - 45.0
5.  Tracy - 44.9
6.  Al - 43.0
7.  Victoria - 42.0
8.  Myron - 41.2
9.  Amy - 39.6
10.  Betty - 36.7

We'll hope to see you all again next month.

I'm betting that was March 3rd...  Those retired guys really do lose track of time.

Congrats to Al on a race well run.  We had a great time racing and Victoria even found space to set up her game board.  I downed not one but two entire slices of pizza and enjoyed every bite.  Quite the day!

Mitch, I'd ask Bill the fixer for help with that.  I ruin a lot less stuff when I do that.
