Employ the technicians rule of thumb...

1.  Decide where you think the problem is on the schematic.
2.  Put your thumb down and replace everything under it.

If the problem persists here is the applicable part:

3.  Take a hammer and hit your thumb a time or two.
4.  Repeat steps 2 and 3 as needed until problem solved.

A few whacks with the hammer will get you right up to 8".

Any questions?

A Fly?  I like that car.

Yes, 8" here as well.

It's just a different class.

I believe that's an F1 class record for laps totaled at Too Bad Motorplex.  Only things faster were a bit out of spec.

Nice.  I like the Policar.

Top Ten, baby!  I'm on my way up.

Not long if either red or blue look yellow to you.  Nor would I be hoping for a white kit.

According to the Policar web site they have at least three coming out soon (2 March and a Lotus) with more to hopefully follow.

You do realize they are now owned by Slot.it.

We'll just add another class, no one will notice.

I am not sure I will make it in tonight so the proxy may have to wait until the next time.  The news here is that the weather will not get above freezing today.

Take a look, I know what's on my Christmas wish list.

A big thanks to Al for getting the Second Saturday Series off to a great start.  The cars were great fun and easy for everyone to handle.  The food was top notch. I especially liked the Mex-flavored dish.  And the chocolates are always a treat.  I almost went for one of the Turkey's but saved myself for chocolate balls instead.  Choices...

You will, it always takes a little time.  Here's my tip, it's an easy track to overdrive.

December brought us cold weather and a little beat of the hot, track side.  With Thanksgiving just past Victoria whipped up a large pot of Turkey soup that seemed to be just the ticket.

The DTM's proved popular, we'll have to pull those out again.  It reminds me I have more...  Thanks to all that came out, we'll see you next time.

Yes, that's what they do.  It's always a problem.  The lesson is to never bid early more than once.

Doc, are you getting a hankering for some Eldon?

Mike, are you complaining that a winning bid came in 1 second after the auction ended?

A true gentleman, thanks!

"Chris won the BRM Trans Am race by one lap."

Ouch.  ;-)

And I thought I was so close...

Killin' me, just killin' me.

Chris - made me laugh.

The Oregon Donors Too team finished 5th overall.

I have both the Camaro and the Mustang.  I'll bring them to Bill's Thursday night.

Neither were we, and no car problems to report really.  Chris did an excellent job of sorting out the cars prior to the event and keeping them in top shape during.  His fix for a fast braid change was quite clever!  And important too as it was the most frequent cause of problems needing a trip to the pits.  We did get a small penalty - go to the pits and fix it - for missing a wing at some point in the dark.  But there were a few of those, not just us.

One of those moments, well two: watching a driver put his car back on the track after a trip to the pits only to discover the wires were reversed.  Twice.  Same driver.

On the plus side I finally started to feel comfortable on both tracks.  I'm ready for next time.  Let's start sharpening our knives.

Doc, great to see you and glad you had a good time.  The door is always open.  And Bill, I agree.  That's probably my favorites of Vic's soup standards.  Nothing like some Albondigas on a cold day.  Except it wasn't really cold.  In fact we had the garage door open for the balmy November weather.  Now on the track, there's where it got hot.

How about some results.
