Not so sure about that.  I would have had them by now.  wink

Ebay has some.   For retail I suggest Carrera Slots.

They are all about the same.  I have run a proxy for a few years - the Carrera Scramble.  The cars are amazingly even as our results have proven.

Your choices are: Mercedes, BMW or Audi.  Buy a new one and remove the magnets.  We'll be making tires for those cars soon.

Alright, does the moderator need to step in here?  hmm

Good news for Al, get better ASAP.

On more health related news Greg P. had knee surgery and expects to be staying with his sister for a bit while he recovers.  He thinks he might be giving us a laying on of the plastic come January.

Get well ya'll.

Bill, show them your box that AJ did the outside art work.

We really should amend that class to allow the smaller motors as well since the RussKit's and a number of others primarily used the smaller motors.  Not to mention all the other motors that were stock in the day like that padlock looking thing in Al's Cheetah that used to kick our tails regular.  Let the big dogs eat!

I really like front wheels that look like front wheels.

Yes we do.

Check your tire size first.

Spray the track?  Somebody got a leak?

Very nice.  You may want a hand truck to move it around.

No energy drinks that I saw, just a lusty, busty, intoxicating combination of adrenaline, excitement and some sleep.

Why the difference in points? Heats led? Concours? Brown-nosing Alan?

Hahahaha...

That last point almost came to fruition when Alan announced prior to the LAST HEAT that there would be a clearance check after the race.  A minor brouhaha nearly erupted and it was decided that all affected cars - well, all cars except for one - would need to get their tires replaced - on a schedule - during the heat.  Wait to be called and then sprint to the pit room.  Operators are standing by...

Despite all this Chris stayed strong and held off the team behind us securing our points position in the final heat of the last 8 hour saga.

The points...  were based on your finish position in each of the three 8 hour segments.  Teams selected their cars for the first and third segments - Mini Cooper or Simca - but the Opel Kadett was chosen to rule the night - go figure...

I saw things.  I saw some serious driving.  Some of it was great and some of it was, well, enthusiastic.  I saw Zack, Chris and Ray appear to defy the possible limits of adhesion at times.  I saw the track marshal working next to me fall asleep.  You gotta have more than two people on your team.  I saw old friends and made a few new ones.  And I had one heat like the big boys where the laps flowed and the other cars fell behind.

I'd rate it a good experience.  A couple of more team mates and everyone could get some sleep.  It makes a difference.  Oh, and a sprinter, we need a sprinter.  One that can do hurdles.

And in conclusion I believe the team ran the second most laps in total but the scoring was by points for a change - of course...

The Oregon Donors - Chris, Zack, Ray, Tony and myself finished third.

Podium,  baby!

Yup, sounds good, thanks.  I may have plugs as well, I'll check.

I talked with Stan yesterday and he won;t be making the event this year, he's had some issue arise that will keep him at home.

See ya'll Saturday morning if not before.

Zack, plugs sound like a good idea, I'm interested.

I use my razor for cleaning up the back sides of BOSA tires.  Works great.

Truing - I'd use my Hudy.

Oh you sneaky proxy guys...  Best of luck to you.

Always make your cars unique, er, Yunick, yes, Smokey Yunick.

Always a great time at Stans.  I enjoyed the food, the company, the cars, even the mysterious deslotters.  I know I could get more laps out of them with one more run.  Their quirks have been exposed.

All of the DTM cars for the proxy should have no issues, if so, it's the last round and they can be shortened as needed.

I got it.  Those that are coming, bring a controller if you have one of the DS units.

I can arrange cars.  Perhaps Bill has some ideas?
