Been there, done that.

The track that Rico now has, I was painting it in the garage.  Lay tape over the rails, spray the track and remove the tape.

Most of the way down the main straight and almost finished I went to peel off the tape.  No tape...

Decided I should open the garage door before any more spraying.

Detail work?  Aren't you about to thrash that thing?

Doc, thanks for your efforts.  Keeping things rolling is pretty important right now.

Yup, same one.  It went from the guy mentioned in the post to Blair in Puyallup.  That's where we picked it up.

Wow, looks like you are adding about 15' of track to the layout.

Always a great runner back in the day.

I got one the day they came out, may have to actually put it in the track at some point.
