...............car is actually in progress although it will not be anything spectacular, just a quick build but new for this year.

I think we may have had heat races in the past where the entry that made it all the way around at least once, won!

I had a lot of fun at the NASTE Halloween Race last night. Ten racers made it out for the event so the track was filled with cool, scary, funny, and just plain interesting entries!

Sherry raced her "guinea pig", but it sure looked like a RAT to most of us!

Bryan brought the Grim Reaper with him for this year's race.
Bryan also had a hand in building Sherry's Rat.......err.....Guinea Pig entry.

Terry not only brought entries for himself and Dorothy but extra to serve as loaners for anyone that didn't have a car to race, or in case of breakdowns! Thanks Terry!

Racers that wanted to were able to get in some practice time before the racing began.

Racers at the start line for another heat race. Heat races were 2 minutes with racers completing anywhere between 8 and 17 laps.

Al's Spider Cheetah. This is the oldest slot car in the NASTE group. Al raced this car as a youth back in the 1960's!
