I don't care what the group decides to do. I have cars that are capable of winning no matter what we decide.
It's consistent driving skills that I lack, and that's my business.
As for deleting races already run, It won't affect me much. It's really hard to get bumped out of the middle of the pack.
There must be some sleepless nights for the guys at the top.
It seems that only round 6 is causing the heartbreak. I say scratch that round and let's move on.
Since I, like Mitch have no real dog in this fight, I don't care what you guys do. It's hard to worry about losing points you haven't scored...
I repeat , if race #6 is being scratched due to the running of Thunderslots race #3 must also go.

Looking at this, it's coming back to me- this is the race where I ran mine and Monte and Fernando ran Monte's and Doc had his (but had tire issues)... Is that correct?
If that's the case, then fine... Can it.
Agree with Al. I know Chris, Fernando and I all ran Thunderslots in that 3rd race.
And they were quite good.
And unlike slot-brother Mitch, I can bring a poor quality car to every race for every class. Don't ask me how I do it. Tuning secrets like this are closely guarded.
Point totals have been recalculated without points being awarded for races #3 and #6 where Thunderslot brand cars were allowed to race. All race point totals have been updated and verified.
The Odd Thursday Night Class Rules have been updated to reflect ineligibility of Thunderslot cars in current applicable classes.
Please review and let me know of any errors.

Any body have any thoughts on adding two more races to the end of the season to run these cars?

I'm good with that.

No, what's going to change? There will still be those who have them and those who don't

Well, anything could change but mostly, but what did change is that Thunderslots are not eligible to play now. Those that do have them will not be allowed to use them, and it gives the opportunity to exercise their "normal" car, like in the pre-Thunderslot era.
As points races? It changes nothing. As non-point races? Then I would have little to no objection. I suppose that it depends on what Doc means by "these cars". If he means ThunderSlots then I see no change, it would still be a turkey shoot. If he means pre ThunderSlot spec cars then I have no objection
Yes, I would expect the intention is for points races, but I read "these cars" as the Can Am and GT classes, and specifically without TS cars.
T-Slots are ineligible for this season. Period. I believe the objective is to replace the TS rounds with fresh new (championship-counting) rounds without them.
We can figure out on the side how to integrate TS cars into the field going forward but for now they are out for any championship rounds.
What I was saying was only thunderslot class for the last two rounds. But that's only if every body was on board with it. Be a preview for what the next season would be like with them.the coup and spider would run together.I would have no problem letting my car be a loner for those that don't have one and there are other I think feel the same. But only if EVERY is on board with it or if that is not the case, then what Chris was saying to re run gt and cam am cars without the TS in the field.
I'm liking my McLaren M8D a lot. It's no Thunderslot, but it's no Fly either.

A few more nights like that Al and you going to have the point lead for sure.your going to be the one in the driving seat with all of us chasingTells youTells how you like.
The race schedule for the remaining 2018 season has been revised. The Point Series races are the same but order of the first races of the night have changed. The third race of the night will remain BRM, but the fourth race will change to Open meaning Thunderslots or any car that might compete with them.
The NASTE calendar and the list of races here in the forum have been updated to reflect the changes.

Was f1 not part of the championship at one time? we have the sport 2 class 3 times and LeMans also three times the rest twice and no f1
The current 1/32 F1 class has never been part of the NASTE Point Series Championship. As laid out there is no way to accurately and fairly score the finish positions and award points.
I think of our F1 as an endurance class, at least I have to endure trying to keep it on the track for 9 minutes.
Left to my own devices I would race 50s sports car one week, 60s sports cars the next, 70s sports cars after that, then repeat the cycle. I may be boring, but I'm easy to please.
Ok I must of looked at the scheduled races wrong when they came out. if anything I keep the forum active.
