Most, if not all of these items were not slot related, so you can breathe easier. My shop had become the catch all for unwanted items.

hey I have the same problem at my shop. wife thinks the garage is her personal catch all area also.I give the items a few weeks and tell her to either do something with them or there going to goodwill. they go to goodwill and half a year later she out in the shop tearing through boxed trying find something she put out there and I just play dumb. drives the women nuts. so this spring I have a big clean up that is going to have to happen again. got behind on the goodwill runs do to my leg. might have to rent a truck for this one.

I have found the cure to compulsive and addictive slot car collecting! Pretend you are moving and box ALL your stuff up, pack it in your car or truck, and take it somewhere to store, knowing full well that you will have to pack those same boxes back into your car or track and move them again! So far this has been a two week process for me. I have NOT been on Ebay looking to buy ANYTHING since day one!

Just for fun, and a little insight to all you NASTE guys in case I should perish before all is moved and done, as I have packed stuff into boxes I have tried to put at least some slot cars in every box. I figured when it comes time to unpack it will make it a lot more enjoyable to find slot cars or something slot car related in every box. So a little insight for my friends, if something happens to me before I get a chance to unpack all this stuff a $100 per box to my widow would be fair to both of you! But please keep an eye on her as I have over 100 boxes of slot car stuff!!!!

At this point I'm not sure I'm going to survive this move! I've been boxin' and movin' stuff. I have most of the smaller stuff from upstairs boxed and moved now. Hopefully Friday I can start moving some of the bigger stuff out of the room. I'm too old for this shit!................

As you all have probably noticed my slot car efforts have been put on hold, both racing-wise as well as my prescence here on our forum. Trying to find a new home and get moved has been taking up all of my time for the past couple of weeks, and I see no end in the near future. I will continue to keep on top of the Point Series Championship, but once that concludes I fear I will probably have no time for slot cars or anything else for awhile. Diane has done an outstanding job getting the house ready to show to perspective buyers! I am making progress, but as most of you who know me must realize, I have a TON of CRAP to deal with! The legendary "Room" is gone. I guess now it could be referred to as "The Stash" tucked away in storage at some secrete location. That sounds cool anyway, but the reality is it is over 700 cubic feet of STUFF! All slot car related stuff, but still just "Stuff"!Hopefully by this time next year Diane and I will be relocated and we will all be breakin' in a new track in a new shop!
Sadly, my beloved "Room" is no more.....
This is why I was unable to host the last race....
