What I still have all my parts still on my car.
I still have all my parts. Many are still on the car.
I still have parts of my car!
My car is slow enough that it misses most of the carnage so it has all of its parts. For me the carnage comes in waves, or is that passes?
well it put up or shut up time.good luck and bring home the gold guys.
WE WEREN'T LAST!
Neither were we, and no car problems to report really. Chris did an excellent job of sorting out the cars prior to the event and keeping them in top shape during. His fix for a fast braid change was quite clever! And important too as it was the most frequent cause of problems needing a trip to the pits. We did get a small penalty - go to the pits and fix it - for missing a wing at some point in the dark. But there were a few of those, not just us.
One of those moments, well two: watching a driver put his car back on the track after a trip to the pits only to discover the wires were reversed. Twice. Same driver.
On the plus side I finally started to feel comfortable on both tracks. I'm ready for next time. Let's start sharpening our knives.
So were did you all finish? Those t/a cars sure looked sharp..
The Oregon Donors Team finished 10th. Monte's Oregon Donors II finished MUCH better, although I'm not sure of their exact finish position. After 24 + hours I was not paying much attention to verbal communications!
Word from Monte was the Donors II team pulled down 5th overall. Nice work!!!
It was again a fun event and the new cars are excellent. I think they will go over very well with the American market and hopefully appeal to a wide audience, drawing new faces to the hobby. They look fantastic and handle very well for muscle cars- very similar to our 1/32 TA cars, just in a larger scale. I look forward to seeing production versions of them soon (March is the word). I hope enough of us are interested in these to pick one up and work them into a class rotation once they are available.
Chris
That still a good showing. I take it the teams took the cars home. Camaro or Mustange ?
The Oregon Donors Too team finished 5th overall.
I have both the Camaro and the Mustang. I'll bring them to Bill's Thursday night.
Congrats on representing us well. BRM Trans Am? Sounds like a hoot!
What color are they calling that on the cars?
Plum
What color are they calling that on the cars?
I don't know what BRM will call it, but Monte's calling it "5th"!
Thats just plum crazy. Great job bringing home 5th and 10th wasn't it
Chris - made me laugh.
