Topic: NASTE Carlo 2013

http://www.naste.org/members/monte/NASTECarlo/NASTE_Carlo_2013_b.gif

Come join us for a fun day of rallying around the greater Portland area. The NASTE Carlo will take place on a multitude of different tracks with your individual stage times being totaled to determine overall and class placings.

Last years overall winner was not decided until the final run of the final stage and then the difference was a mere two seconds!

Three classes are offered:

Modern, Vintage and Group B.

Contestants are limited to two entries either in the same class or split between different classes.

The NASTE Carlo. Coming to a road near you soon.

Come get NASTE!

Further information will be posted to this thread.

Re: NASTE Carlo 2013

What kinds of modifiacations are allowed in each class?

Race cars are neither beautiful nor ugly. They become beautiful when they win.

Re: NASTE Carlo 2013

Modifications?  Like what did you have in mind?

Re: NASTE Carlo 2013

The usual type of stuff: tires, wheels, motors etc.  Are scratch built/ modified chassis allowed?

Re: NASTE Carlo 2013

No, I think we are not going to allow for scratch-built chassis.  That really starts to tip the scales.  The motor list is defined.  Use whatever wheels and tires you want as long as they look scale.  No O-rings and such.

Nice piece of artwork there guys.

Hope the day goes well and you all enjoy yourselves.

If I was there I would enter my Alpine in the Historic class and an MSC Ford RS200 in group "B"

Hope you post some pics of the day.

BTW Monte - We caught up with the guys in Austin Texas a couple of weeks ago
