Topic: THIS SATURDAY 6-27-09: OPEN TRACK - RACING & BBQ AT Jacks!!

I know its short notice - sorry I couldn't avoid it.
But some of us are helping Rico move the Hills to his place Saturday morning.
I've just finished getting my track set-up and wanted to invite any & all over for a bit pot-luck style BBQ and open track/racing.

Now here is the deal I have a little over 53 feet of 2 lane Revel track, I have a BBQ, I have some corn on the cob, hamburger and hot dogs - could pick up some more if needed.

BUT YOU MUST BRING A CHAIR - folding, camp style whatever - I don't have but 2 chairs.
Also if you could bring some soda, Potato salad, green salad, chips, drinks - something it would help!!

And bring your favorite controller  - I do have a couple - but you'll probably want yours anyway, and bring some cars to run.

Ok I think that is about it ----- PLEASE CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW YOU"LL BE COMING!!!!

Hi all,
What time - GOOD QUESTION???
Well we need to finish moving the hills - should get started around 10am and hope to be done by 2 or 3pm??? Baring any unforeseen problems ( Murphys Law).
So lets say 4pm - But the best bet is to give me a call around 3pm to check.

Wanted to thank all who came out for your patience waiting for the chow.
I had to wait for my resident Grill - Master ( my son Sean) to cook for you all, cause if I had done it, the FDA might have shut us down - LOL.
Again thanks to all for coming out and the goodies you brought along to pitch in.

I think the big fun of setting up a track is the opportunities to have friends over.
To all those who could not make it - and I called as many numbers as I could get.
You all owe me $$ for buying too much food - LOL.

Well now Milwaukie is A SLOT CAR MECCA, with the Hills at Rico's and my modest 50 + feet all within blocks of each other. You better give a call, mark your day-planners and get over for some track time!

Are those tracks open for lunch? I work in the Clackamas area.
