Topic: Digital Bracketology

The next NASTE race is scheduled for here on Saturday, May 2.  In preparation for our big Rib's 'n Racin' event we'll be running on the digital track - new things to make sure of.  It will NOT be a TEAM Enduro.  Rather here is the format that we'll be using:

Jacquelin Park Speedway
Digital Bracket Race Format

1. Draw for rotation position within division
2. Each racer to run 4 sprints of 25 laps per rotation position

  • No refuel

  • First to 25 wins and the heat ends

  • Each racers complete laps will be totaled

Sprints are only used for bracket seeding and are not part of your score

3. At conclusion of sprints racers in each division will be ordered bottom to top for Bracket Racing
4. Starting from the bottom brackets will be structured so that there are 4 racers per heat
5. The higher rated racer in each heat gets choice of car/position
6. One 50 lap heat per bracket will be run with re-fuel with the winner of the heat moving on to the next bracket
7. Bracket results will establish the final results and will be the only scored portion

Let the complaining begin.

COOL & FUN!!!!

Re: Digital Bracketology

And yes, we now have RamJet's.  No need to use those plunger-style controllers.  Unless of course that is your preference.

If I find time, we may even have anti-collision.  Actually thinking about it, I SHOULD find the time.

Know your enemy.  roll

Re: Digital Bracketology

Anti-collision? Where's the fun in that???

Race cars are neither beautiful nor ugly. They become beautiful when they win.

Re: Digital Bracketology

Easier than an increased entry fee.  These cars ain't free.

Re: Digital Bracketology

Man, you used to be a lot more like penicillin or a fungi. ;-)

Re: Digital Bracketology

It's also a wonderful opportunity for more product testing.

Re: Digital Bracketology

I spent a decade of my life on my knees pushing cars around in the dirt. You're providing cars, track, controllers, and electricity, what on earth is there to complain about?

Re: Digital Bracketology

NO ONE is complaining. I'm just giving him a little good natured ribbing, that's all.  If it didn't sound that way I apologize.

Re: Digital Bracketology

Rico I was responding to Monte's original post. It's the only one I read from my phone. Prints too small.

Re: Digital Bracketology

Guess I'll have to change my strategy!

Re: Digital Bracketology

Actually, no.
