Topic: Chris Kouba's Routed Track in Oregon City
Last night I had the pleasure to run some laps on Chris Kouba's track in Oregon City. Chris' track is an MDF routed 3 lane, with nice elevation changes. I would call this a short track, but Chris designed it to allow racing of 1/24 cars as well as 1/32 cars. Short tracks are nothing new to me, and I have run and raced on quite a few different ones. I will say that Chris' track is the best 1/24 short track I have ever run on, both in terms of layout design and function. This track is an absolute blast! It is surprisingly fast once you get the rhythm down, but still very challenging and FUN! If you get an opportunity to run at Chris' don't pass it up! Thanks for a terrific evening of racing Chris! -----------------------------Bill

That looks great. Give him a spot on the NASTE schedule.

Re: Chris Kouba's Routed Track in Oregon City
We discussed the possibility of a NASTE race this season. Chris' work schedule is a moving target right now, but the prospects sounded pretty good to me. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!
