Topic: SCX Season Ending Enduro date set

We have set a date for the conclusion of the Summer Season.

On Saturday, October 24, we'll be having a 4-hour team Enduro.

All drivers in attendance will be divided into 4 teams with each team running each lane for one hour.

The fuel system will be in effect to help facilitate driver changes.

At the conclusion, event and season awards will be presented.

Practice and registration will open at 10:30.  Teams will be selected at 11:45.  Racing will commence at 12:00 noon and conclude at approximately 4:00 pm.

I think you've left out the '2' as in 24 hours....

I've done that once in my life. Four lanes, three drivers per team, sleeping bags in the hallway, fix your car when it breaks. I forgot how the lane rotation was set up, but it might have been just four stops to change lanes so six consecutive hours per lane.

George, when you take into account scale, we're actually racing for a little more than 5 days straight!  I trust most will find that adequate.

So, I take it if we have the SCX Regional qualifier it will be a different date?  I personally think that is for the best.  One big event at a time.
