Heres some action shots from the new location of Autumn Hills:
Thanks for looking
I just found them today, and I'm not sure there was one when I found it
Anyone interested?? Found this link on good ol' ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/4-Vintage-1-32-Scal … 240%3A1318
they look pretty complete
lets get ambitious!
my thought is that we run all vintage cars, with vintage style bodies. You run whatever you bring, and there are no rules as long as it has a vintage style chassis and body. However the races do not count for points, so there's no inclination to beat out everyone with a hot car, just a race where everyone can have a fun time and race their cars. After a few races we could see what works and start developing rules to follow after.
My other thought is that we just build simple, not flexing brass pan cars. Just based on a flat peice of brass with small walls on the outside for body and axle mounting.
Just some thoughts, AJ
i'll have to see what days my mom doesnt work, but a weekend would probably be best. for time, on weekdays later afternoon and for weekends almost any time my sisters not playing soccer
well i'm interested, i've always liked jalopys. i'd definetly try to be at a build session and make a car, then maybe i could make a few more naste races
hey monte, could you make me some decals after i give you the paper (which i found) if i get a project started (i have one in mind).....
the only problems with the ninco JGT cars is theres little variety, and they are a little hefty on the price scale from what ive seen. if they run well though i wouldnt care, but i'm really fooking for cheap car that could still run. i think the stock slot it sounds good too, but would you still allow hrs based cars?
what chassis are they? it sounds like a relatively cheap class, therefore i'm interested
i dont know if thats faster than the older ones, but if they're about the same speed i have no problems with it. it would at least sorta blend in though. i like this car personally

i think the trans-am cars would make a good class though
why dont we run scalextric trans-am cars? they're easy to get, theres lots of different liveries, and even a few white ones here and there. i think camaros, mustangs, and the L88 corvettes would be a fairly even running class

heres links to look at
i dont know, i might have to pioneer a damage meter
sounds like a deal! i'll get it from you next rac and try to scrounge up that decal paper, wherever it is!
i have some decal paper somewhere around my room you could have, that is if i can find it
if its cheap, i might consider taking it off your hands. how much track are we talking about?
i think monte has a good idea, some variety may be nice. they don't really have to be white cars, but maybe cars that would be easy to repaint, without lots of detail. but i think we should stick to some type of GT style car, and scalextric offers some plain whites anyways...:)
thats really cool george!
how long did it take you to make that??
its a tyco 440, and currently i don't have a track setup, but i do have alot of tyco and some lifelike track
My opinion is that we should go for the stock RTR one magnet class, stock motors, and only one brand. That way, for the next transition, we would be in the middle of all the groups again and could choose slower or faster, similar to what we did after the Carrera class. (although a factory stock Slot-it is pretty fun to drive...)
another good track to make would be...
It's appx 21 X 7 ft.
heres the big one!
its PIR!!!!!!!
Thanks Rico, I'll check it out! Hey, I think you need to buy AJ some more track. He's got some great track plan ideas!!!! ---------------Bill
yeah dad buy me some track!!!
