Some of those old posts are pretty darn funny. I occasionally surf through some of the old posts. Brings back some good memories.

David was always super nice to AJ and me. Very helpful with advice. Where is Dave these days?

I couldn’t agree more

Thank you Howie for hosting yesterday. What fast group of cars, everyone had some fast lap times and a few very close to a new track record. I am just thrilled with my result, probably my best ever race at Rapid Raceway. My car was working really well especially in the curves almost making up what I lost on the main straight. Also thanks to Bill for his reports, pics and videos.

I’m with Mt. Goat on this one, looked good to me too! Thanks again for the use of the Avant Audi, it was superb. Glad to see the closeness of competition.

What day are you thinking? Does it matter if we have an entry or not?

Thanks for hosting the race Bill, I had a great time despite my dismal results.

Thanks for letting me punt you a couple times..........

Like he or anybody else had a choice in the matter :-)

I had a fantastic fun day of racing, thanks Bob for hosting.  I really enjoyed the flexi cars and my TA car got better with a little tuning and soldering. Now that Ted is leaving us, I guess I will finally have to improve my soldering skills so I don't lose so many laps re-soldering pinions.

I paid a visit to InSlot's Checkered Flag Raceway yesterday and came home with this beauty. Thank you again Mr. Bill

Test was negative on Saturday. I would have been safe to race

My nephew who plays football for L.O. High school had a teammate test positive last week and I was around my nephew all week end so the dreaded virus may be in our home. All players will be rapid tested again tomorrow but until I'm sure that I'm clean I will have to pass on racing tomorrow. I just don't want to take the chance of giving it to you fine people. I will state my nephew or anyone in my family do not have any symptoms at this time, just being precautionary.  I was really looking forward to trying out my new car, but it will just have to wait for the next race

I purchased one of these from Zack earlier today. I would have to say at first inspection this kit has many improvements over the original chassis. All of the bolt-on brackets are made of superior materials and quality.  I can hardly wait to get it assembled and race it.

Rico

Glad to hear that Chris. I've done the week plus thing and I do not recommend it.

As always Bill, excellent work.

We lost 3 branches out of the birch tree in the back yard. Two smaller ones and a pretty good sized one. We lost power for about a minute and lots of flickers. My mom still has no power along with no update on it’s return
