And list as not useful all the rest maybe. ;-)
At least it supports the spirit of the Can Am class.
Not to argue the vote but I only saw two, not six. What did I miss?

I'm easy, I can wait until the crowd dies down. I'm sure I can select something out of the remains. Thank you, Bill.
Holy hell!
Mail order available?
I have the info for the Museum in Salem and sent them an email, let's see if they respond.
Of note, the boards we were using for relays were never intended to be used at those current levels, rather 132 at 10v and such.
I talked with Mike (my DRS partner) and he had no interest in upping the levels for larger scale applications.
The Race Coordinator issue in my opinion and backed by testing and research has always been a poor implementation of the serial port driver. I discussed this at length with the software developer and his reaction was basically to switch to USB. With his own software package. So basically he didn't put in the time to make a serial interface work right.
Here's what I found with testing.
I have run my track/system here for just a little over 12 years using Ultimate Racer without issue. I tried Race Coordinator and in the FIRST RACE HEAT the race was stopped by the typical issue we would see at Al's. End of story.
Bottom line for me - use something other than Race Coordinator if you are going with a serial port connection.
Trackmate with their own hardware should always be solid. Same with the DS stuff. In fact I am looking at using the DS bits I have for my "new" track project. If only the stop and go boxes that went to the track at the Museum of Speed would resurface.
Pleasant day to you all.
He's raced before. The Dom-inator.
You got it. Easily sits on saw horses.
I've reduced the price to free for the hauling. I'll start taking it apart in a few days.
Come on all you big strong men.
Yup. Both.
This would be a good track for you.
We are going to move the track out, hopefully someone will be interested.
The track has seen countless races during it's 12 years here as well as having been resurfaced from what we brought home.
It looks a lot like this: http://www.naste.org/track_detail.cfm?ID=7
Top side track decorations are not included.
$250 includes the track and the timing system w/computer, keyboard, mouse, and wall-mounted monitor (w/mount).
You will need to add an adjustable PS. $50 or so on eBay will get you what you need.
Some disassembly required. Separates into 3 easy to move sections. They have easy connection plugs. I can explain it, you will have to do it.
You can contact me directly at montedsaager@gmail.com
It's a good, solid track well worth having.
Can you vote more than once? Will we need to have the counts audited? Are there restrictions?
From the looks of it, Rico voted for Mitch.
If I were there I'd pick these:
Classic Sportscar 1
Cam Am
Trans Am
Le Mans
So, I'd mentioned to Bill that I needed a slot box for larger cars. You know that scale...
And then he showed up with the most beautiful vintage box from the glory days. When I opened it, I almost cried.
That's the track where I first raced beyond my floor. I have all those items on the inside of the door flap.
And I was fortunate to have a number of items that felt right at home in such fine surroundings.
Thank you, Bill. It warms my heart every time I look at it. We need to go Racin'!

Not WHEN I'm DONE....
And there you have it. ;-)
Actually, the rule might want to say the cars use the stock roof they came with to prevent someone from slapping some lexan slab on a McLaren. Perhaps add GT to the details.
Congratulations, a tribute to you all.
Wow. Wow. Double wow.
Where my Asp! And a 6.6 second motor...
Works for me.
Any chance of a second class for the smaller sized motors?
Happy 4th gents. Per Bill, smoke 'em if you got 'em. But stay safe and sane.
We set ours with the back end over the kitchen sink and just let it drain as it will. It's kept the kitchen quite livable the past few days. After we replaced all the windows the house stays pretty reasonable until the mid-90's then it starts heating up.
Ahhh, updates. Gotta love those unplanned updates. We've been throwing money at things like crazy. It would be cheaper to go back to buying slot cars...
