Mine have been ready to go since Sunday. My '69 Camaro hit a 6.5 on my track, I'm trying to NOT touch it until tomorrow.
While my 917K is a bit quicker I think I'm going to race my 917/10 as I can go lap after lap without coming out, that should make up for those couple of 10ths difference
I watched him take laps on Howie's track, it was quick and tight. When I tried mine a few months ago with mine it would go airborne at full throttle but I have no idea what motor it has other than it is compact in size and totally unfamiliar with Wing cars in general.
Strange the attachment never loaded, I was going to stay with the Javelin but this one just seemed to come to life lately running in the mid 6s at home.
These are coming up, it's been a while. This one can do 6.5 at my place.
I'll have the track open by 4:00 for guys to run cars, play ect. But will probably start the proxy about 6ish as that is the soonest that Rico can make it after work.
The purpose of qualifying is to get car that run closest to each other on the track at the same time. My timing system tends to scramble the cars no matter what order I enter them in. I'll have to check that out tomorrow.
But no to your question, it shouldn't matter.

It's Boulder City Nevada, Mitch. I'll be there from 3/2 to 3/12. I'll try to qualify the cars before then, so we have an idea of what order to run them in.
I didn't find one, but I did find a bunch of other loose parts, now to figure out what they've come off of.
Your welcome to bring them over, I was going to set up an Iroc since there were only 16 cars. We can do both proxies instead. When are you leaving for CO Stan?
What does everybody think about Thursday, 2/24? We could run it like an "Even Thursday" race. I'll have snacks and stuff available. If we can get 5 or 6 people, that would be great; 4 drivers and a couple of marshals should do the trick.

Here you go Doc, this may just fit in your garage.
It was the gentle banked curves and the undulating straights that were the inspiration of my track. I originally drew it out to just about this size but when I started building the table I felt it was overwhelming the room so I removed a section out of the middle.
I should be there next time, we are back in the world as of today.

Chris still has mild symptoms. According to the clinic where she works 5 days after she no longer has symptoms we are good to go. Meanwhile I'll hang out in the basement reimagining older builds.
The racing format regarding the B main & A main rotation.
I have one, but mine has been raced and entered into a couple of proxies so it is less than pristine. , however I'm rather fond of it.
I've seen another nicer one so I think somebody else in the group has one.
