It was a fun time planning, soldering, cutting on project chassis. Thanks to Bill, Bart, Mark, Doug, Tim, Hersche, Bill E. for making this a fun gathering. Thanks to Terry for bringing some parts over. I had to leave at 4pm. so we didn't finish up everyone's project. Yes, cookies, coffee etc. was there. I will have another session as soon as I can.

Thanks Bill for going to all this trouble and money to test these motors. Time well spent so we can include these motors in our rules making sure one motor is not a great advantage. That makes the motor choice a lot easier for the racers.

Wow, I just realized that I haven't posted my projects lately. I have the Pontiac Peak #42 done, it has been done quite a while and has raced at the Gorge Raceway one time and didn't handle worth a crap! I need to take the time to dial it in. But I did make a big wheel out of it so what do I expect?
The chassis picture is the finished chassis. Because of the tall (True Scale) tires, the chassis is quite high. so, I lowered the side pans to .060" clearance from the track. Where I used to work, I had access to a mill, so I milled the motor bracket out of aluminum.
