not sneaky at all.. did build a nice  gto that runs nicely but will not hang with those gt40's. the lola ran in a lot more scca races than the ford did.........

looks like a fun track. I wanted to check it out when we were down in Sunriver last month but ended up coming home early on the day i had planed on trying to check it out on Saturday...... maybe next time

Yes was mucho. So so  I think I have found a car that some how has been under every body radar or there keeping hush hush M on it for the scca proxies. Why not the lola t70 spyder. From I can see it ran any many many secs races

it's really not my habit to intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning won't be lost or misconstrued
But I'll repeat myself at the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways to leave your motor
Fifty ways to leave your motor"
You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free.

Yes it is very close racing. I just remember seeing somebody post about running a spec motor in our 18k motored cars. Maybe if there is a need to replace a motor. The only legal motor would be the HR motor.

There are a few options  out there. The hr motor would be the easiest  to check and seem to all to run very close from one motor to the next. I think we just all need to sit down at the next club race and discuss these more and see if it something we want to do as a club..

My lola has every thing that zack called out except that guild. Maybe that is the super duper speed secret that I have been missing. Is there any more talk about going with a spec 18k motor for all classes that run those wildly all over the place black strip motors. I was thinking if you have won two races in any stock 18k class then you would need to go with the hrs motor.wich means pretty much all the regular drivers. New comers could stick with what came in the car. I HAVE FEW THAT JUST SCREAM and I have removed those and replaced with other black strip motors I had. That ran more like normal 18k motor. They just didn't seem fair to race with.....

Maybe Bill hasn't updated the rules in the website. Everything I see above is in regards to classic one.

in Classic two I think functioning pods were still allowed but they were going to move the year cut off up to exclude the GT40 and add a max track width.

now I have missed several races, perhaps I've also missed more discussion.

No gt40 still legal for sportsman II. THE cut of date was moved for sportsman I class only.

I would have loved to host the 21st, but alas I'll probably be working all day and if the weather holds well into the evening.

Someday I'll retire and have to re-route the track for braid because we keep wearing the copper off.

Looking forward to Stan's if I can find it again.

No expert  but I think you just need to remove tape and repaint with a semi gloss paint Mitch. That flat you used may be the problem with the tape not sticking. You can also just take it all apart and send it my way and start all over also.

More fiber  Bill will help that problem.and less of those little blue pills.

That's just to funny. Was going to say hey Bill. These might just be what you need knowing how much you like to  work on slot cars with you having so much going on right now at home. And wamo  I see your post. You be very happy with that car indeed..
