Nice, I've got one of those chassis. What bodies and motors will you be running?
I don't think there is a max. We have the car, we just need more drivers. We'll enter one car and keep it going for the 6 hours.
C'mon all you big, strong men...
someone must want to spend a pleasant day racing with me and the Pusherman. Yes, Hornby Tony has joined the team so we now stand at two. Looking at 3 hours of personal track time currently.
Thanks gents and to all those that came to play. It was hot as can be! But we pressed on and managed to do a little racing. Here's the result:
Slot.it C Class:
1. Paul Painter - 46.7 laps (w/magnet assist)
2. Tracy Flood - 44.5
3. Bill Bostic - 44.3
4. Greg Petrolati - 43.8
5. Monte Saager - 43.7
6. Goose Gossett - 43.4
7. Todd Flood - 43.3
8. Jeff Fields - 43.2
9. Victoria Saager - 41.4
10. Al Christenseen - 41.3
11. June Petrequin - 39.1
12. Perry Petrequin - 38.5
Despite the heat we made the best of it and enjoyed a fine afternoon of good food and great company. And let it be said that on that day Todd looked like a racer. Way to go young lad!
Close racing for sure as 7 cars were spread out by slightly more than a lap from 2 through 8.
And happily Cat-Zilla was stopped just short of mounting the track table.
I've never worried about a car I put into an IROC event. Give 'em up for dead as soon as they hit the track.
Plan accordingly as your little, precious, priceless beauty could get rider-ed into oblivion even while in your own hands during a normal event. Don't want to risk it anyway, don't run it in the IROC event, wait for the next race when you can run it solo.
I suppose we could run a split class with both GT and Classics. Run one of the other. A piece of cake compared to the F1 classes.
917 and 512. Anything else? Like to be able to use the McLaren now and then.
Mess? That's a nice looking car.
I got my eye on you pal. And your little friends.
Ok, I suck at HO, there, happy? ![]()
Thanks for hosting, we had a pleasant afternoon and the best Lasagna I've had in some time. I enjoyed all the cars even though it's a little tough on my skill set.
Always a great time racing with the gang. Thanks Al for hosting. All 4 for once! HA.
Sure, or I can bring it along to the next event and save you a trip.
John says he has a lot, it's a freebie. Sloters helping sloters - as it should be.
I'm going to pick up 20-30 ft. of braid from John tomorrow or this weekend. How soon did you want it?
I'm checking with John Police, they may have some extra.
Here it is - download, unzip and pay attention to Stan's instructions above.
Stan, email me, perhaps we can just post it to the site for easy downloading.
I think I've had Vic's car longer than you've had the Ferrari. It just stays in the box.
She says she likes it. Purple - of course.
I see there is a suspension kit available...
It was Rico's new rocket I'm talking about, you can ask him. Looked like a rip-snorter to me.
Yup a small but fun crowd yesterday. We ran two sets, first the Slot.it class followed by an open race so someone could run their new toy.
Slot.it "C" Class
1. Monte - 44.3 laps
2. Rico - 43.8
3. Al - 40.1
4. Dennis - 37.9
5. Victoria - 34.9
6. Dominic - 32.4
Run-what-ya-brung race
1. Rico - 45.9 laps
2. Al - 43.8
3. Monte - 43.2
4. Dennis - 38.1
5. Victoria - 37.5
6. Dominic - 32.8
May the down force be with you...
Yes, again. At least it's a simple fix.
Monte ran two heats and the controller wire broke...
Congrats to you both, I think that's great!
