Dominic and I had a great time Saturday, thanks to Bill and Diane for being such gracious hosts once again. Too bad we didn't race the Womps both rounds but the Slot.its were very nice too until that one decided to slow down and probably cost me a lap or two. Oh well, next time. Have a Merry Christmas y'all.
Regards
Rico
Congrats on the anniversary!
Congratulations to the Christiansen's for a successful opening of their new track. The races went off with only a few minor glitches that we corrected as we went along. We forgot to save the results for the first two classes but did save them for the BRM and Over 50 class but only in some weird file type that only Race Coordinator can open. We need to help Al get some form of Excel so we can save the results in a format we can read. I believe I was able to get the printer software loaded but it was late and I did not try to print anything.
There were some really good close battles through out the evening but none closer than the BRM class. I won the race by quite a few laps due to some mishaps by others but Goose set the fast lap 7.069 to my 7.08x. If memory serves Big Smooth won the F1 class. I don't remember who won in CanAm and Al set the pace for the Over 50 cars. I'm pretty sure Goose was second and Brutus came in third.

Very sorry to about hear Bob's troubles, that is NEVER good news. Thanks Bill for filling in on short notice.

As far as the 36Ds go, I was not aware anyone needed any!
I was referring more about the chassis than the 36D motors.
Are you just hoarding these things or are any of them for sale?
I don't believe they did.
wb0s wrote:Rico, I considered that when I posted this! I should have known the thought would cross your mind too!
Not quite sure how to respond but I couldn't have been the only one who had it cross their mind.
I'm pretty sure that Diane is the only one who wants to see Bill's junk. Now, if we are talking slot cars- bring it on.
Cool, I have lots of those.
Man alive, that is NICE! Nice work Al and Mitch too.
You guys are funny. I agree, it sometimes is difficult to achieve the required attention span needed to win or perform well. With our zany group, it can be almost impossible to concentrate at all.
Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving everyone.

Why limit yourself to just one class? You've never hesitated to punt someone in ANY class that I remember.
Thanks Bill for another wildly entertaining evening of racing. Those of you that left after the GT and CanAm races missed a rock em, sock em BRM race. We all know Bill's initials are B B with the first B for Bill. I'm suggesting that may be incorrect, I think it stands for BRUISER after the way he bulled through the field last night. I'm also glad I wasn't in any heats with him.

What a wild and crazy day of racing and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks Bill and Diane for hosting another wild and wacky NASTE race. I'm still not sure how I survived the Nak spec mayhem and placed third but I will take it.

Sorry I had to miss the action, but parental duty prevailed and I dutifully went to parent teacher conferences. I hope to make it for the Sunday NASTE race.
Agreed on the awesome racing and Dominic has a new favorite track. Thanks Howie for opening up the track for our Halloween race, it lived up to expectations once again.

Thanks Bill, you just made me squirt Orange Crush out my nose. I guess I'm just the leader of the pack with all the controller issues but it's always good to be out front.

That's too bad Mitch but I do KNOW how you feel! I had a Radio Shack rheostat that Monte had given me and it didn't fit my Professor Motor or my DiFalco. Sometimes it's best to pay the piper as the old saying goes.
Kudos to the Saagers' for a pleasant afternoon of racing, food and entertainment. We had a great time.

Thanks Bill for another wonderful night of Rock 'em Sock 'em slot car racing. It was certainly an entertaining night of racing with some rather spectacular crashes and some close intense on track battles. Also thanks to Chris for letting us abuse his BRM 917/512M cars.
