Doc, my Razor lives in a drawer but my HUDY is always on the bench. I've never used the Scaleauto machine. I believe that is what Zack uses and I think Al has one too. With the price of them you may want to give each one a try.

i used Al's one-time and I really liked it. I'm leaning towards that brand. only problem nobody has on in stock

Well, it time to step and get a real tire truer. the razor not cutting the mustard or the tires.
torn between the Hudy HUD103100 Tire Truing Machine and the
SCALEAUTO SC-5072 EVO 2 Tire Machine with Electronic Speed Control
the hudy is in stock but everybody out of stock on the Scaleauto one.

Well, no racing tonight only 4 brave souls battled the nasty holiday traffic and one, Me ended up getting a fing migraine so we ended up doing the revo slot qualifying instead.  try again in two weeks....

It is Festivus the holiday for the rest of  us and odd Thursday  race night. So who is bringing the aluminum  pole to set for the night so we can gather  around it and express  our grievance  over the past year. Should be some major lap time put down tonight with two very fast classes  being on the schedule.  Good luck to everyone  except  Al. Hope you loose a wheel or two.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to Igor] Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck's?
Igor: [pause, then] No.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?
Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby... Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then] Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?
[grabs Igor and starts throttling him]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Is that what you're telling me?

Still think you should race the brown truck.
So We all know why no racing today. Bill was in the Batcave playing Dr Frankenstein on a slot car or two...

"4. 1mm min ride height"

.039", that is lower than what I am comfortable with.

would 1.5 be ok ?

Well, let's do it then. need some simple rules.
1. Any resin body.
2. any 14-k motor in any motor setup.
3. open tire chassis can be 3d printed brass plastic ect
4. 1.5 mm min ride height

So I have been in the scratch/resin building mode the last few months and have a hand full these cars and nothing to race them against... thinking a one-off race with maybe just a motor limit to keep the damage down. any 14k motor open chassis and body tire and run it after the normal race classes on a odd Thursday race night..

Congrats on the WIN Rico!

Not to rain on the congrats  but Rico wasn't  the one on the top step...

How is all that needs to be said about last night's racing.  Mr Prozac made a showing after along break from racing the 1/32 cars and him and ricci had a hell of a battle  in the lmp class with Zack taking the win. Up next was the points  race and more close racing was to be had here.  Al looked like he had the class covered till a late race cash with a back marker  snatched the victory  from  his grasp.  Doc took the win followed by Zack then Al . Up next was open and these had to be the race of the year so far
I'm just going  to let the result tell the stories when they are posted. Thanks again Al for hoisting and all the racers that made it out. See you all in two weeks.

Ok let me check and confirm My better half has nothing planned  for the day. If not I'll be there.

Well that was a good day of racing. My womp was off. Was ok for the 1st round but fell of the tire cliff the second go around.  Thanks Once again Bill. On a second note hope every body made it home with there hair still in one piece  with how bad traffic  ended up being. What a mess.

It was a fun day. Maybe need to do some spot height checks. Before we race next time. I WAS at fault with my flexy car. There were some  womps that may be getting close also..

thanks.. now for some new colors

The traction was really  hooked up on Monday.  Even body was  playing dangerous  close to the breakout time with everybody  tripping it at least  once. Some more than once....  Thanks for hoisting  Bill.

I think I hit it 3 times myself. And no cigarettes afterwards.
