Okay, soapbox time. I was first in the troublesome yellow lane. Advantage to going first, not in my opinion. I watched Victoria pass me after only a couple laps. I slowed down and drove it like a t-jet and got 9 laps. Tracy was one of the last through and got 8 laps so the car didn't change much, just the drivers. If driving early was an advantage then I got the worst of it as I sat down after one heat and came back in after almost everyone had driven all the cars. I didn't clean any tires as that was already a standard rule at our races in that it is decided beforehand if tire cleaning was allowed. These races are for fun, at least to me. That's why you don't see me at the Thursday races. These are frickin' toys. When grown men whine and pout and act childish when their car doesn't work well or they get nerfed or the corner marshall isn't fast enough I have no desire to be around them. From the beginning I have said I am a player, not a racer, and I still stand by that. If it ain't fun, I ain't doing it!

Throw it all out! It was a fun night either way. Maybe Bill could uncover the 55's by then. At least when they don't have traction, they are still fun. It will also be after Howie's big race and if he doesn't clean the track they might work just fine.

Maybe we should throw out the results of the second race entirely since we didn't count one lane and somebody cleaned their tires before a heat which was a no-no.

I'm thinking about getting a U-Haul. Wait, my place is already full!

It was a full house and a fun day. Gotta thank the wife for distracting Monte enough to let me sneak by for the win in the IROC race. Good food and good people, thanks Victoria!

Well written, Monte. For less than the price of one car for one class in the Thursday night races, you could attend every race in this series AND eat well. Don't know why more people don't come to these races.

The womps were fun, the food was good. I enjoyed the evening. Thanks to our hosts for a great night of racing.

Main reason was the difficulty for corner marshals to grab the cars with ease. If they didn't crash, the bodies would have been okay. The new ones look nice.

My goal is to have fun playing with toy cars. Seems most of the other people's goal is to WIN !!

What's with the rear view mirrors. Nobody gonna catch that thing!

A sad day in the NASTE world. Gonna miss racing on that track.

Thanks, Monte. Always fun to race the Fiats. Tracy kicked our butts in that first race. Todd even beat us. Must be getting old!

Looking closer, it looks like my numbers from the first race were used as the totals for my second race! Hard to believe I could turn the exact same numbers in both lanes in both races.

I'll second that. I beat Dominic by 2 laps on that last heat except I pushed his crashed car over the 8/10's line. I finished with 7/10's but it shows me at 21.0 and Dom at 20.8. Think mine should have been 22.7. Whatever it was, I had fun with the Fiats!

If it's a car guy looking at the house, your garage would seal the sale!

Thanks for letting me borrow that Camaro. Never came out of the slot. Can't say that about my Corvette in the second race.

Dorothy posted some pics on Facebook. Hard to believe cars that slow could roll over so easily. It was a fun night.

Chris, I don't have your address!

Hope it stays local if you sell it. Fun track to play on!

Didn't have the daughter to do the math and didn't bother with a calculator. Hope I didn't rob anyone of valuable points in the race for the championship!
