The race of Oct. 6, 2012. Small turnout for the night, but the racing gets better and better. Congratulations to Marty for winning his first race, he walked away from us with his great looking and handling Jaguar!! We did not finish racing 'till about 11:30pm. and nobody wanted to go for the track record, so it is still open.

The previous posts to this topic were copied over from the Northwest True Scale Racers site with Howie's permission. The NTSR site is scheduled to close down at the end of this year. I will be copying over as much of the great information posted there as possible in the next few months.  =====Bill

Race of Nov. 14th. '15. The first points race of the season. It was very close racing. The repair to the track made for longer guide flag brush life I believe, at least mine looked a heck of a lot better after the race concluded. Jairus Watson came up and didn't race, but he is doing a report on North West tracks for the new Slot Cars Magazine. He did corner marshal the entire race though and I thank him for that. I believe he had a good time, hope so. Thanks to Susan and John Gill for the bag of candy bars that was left over from Holloween, they were a popular hit!

First Can-Am race of the season. It was supposed to be for points, but thanks to my error it turned into a no points fun race! Beau took the checkered with his new chassis.

Beaus new and winning Can-Am. Ted's car #22 also.

Bill's new Can-Am with an old chassis he updated for this class.

Race of April 4, 2015. We had another good and close race with just 5 entries! We raced three classes and took time between for coffee, cookies and general BS'n! I thank Gearloose, John Fisher, Bob Nak., Beau for showing up and to have a good time! That we did.
We raced 3 classes of cars and had 3 different winners!
Results: Homebuilt 1st. Gearloose...392 laps. 4.617363 Red.
" 2nd. Beau........387 4.608813 Blue.
" 3rd. John F......378 4.617220 Red
Scholer 4th. Bob Nak....376 4.780666 Red
" 5th. Howie......371 4.780929 Red.
The Red lane was really the hot lane tonight for this class. I will clean the track before the next race.
We discovered that the track power is down to 11.3 volts for some reason. The voltage is normally 13+ I will see if I can find out what the problem is, I know..................I'll call Hugh!!

During the off season there will be a home built chassis session for the Can-Am cars, we already have 5 racers so far who want to participate!

John Fisher's new home built and nice Mclaren. Detail is GREAT!

The battle continues between the scratchhbuilders and the Production chassis groups in this class. Sometimes close sometimes not, but the challenge is still on. It's a good spirited battle with many races to go. Let's go Production group!!!!!

The Can-Am class has moved up a notch or two thanks to BB! He won the race and set a new track record: under 4 seconds! The fastest legal car ever to race here. The official time is on the News page. Thanks to all who showed up to race, it was fun!

Race of Feb. 16th. 2013. A great race was had with this group of racers. Not a lot of time to relax, you were either racing or corner marshalling. In between races we took a break and drank coffee, had a cookie or two, Bill added to the goodie bench and basically bs'd, practiced with the NASCAR's and had a good time.
