Topic: Practice Session at Springwater Raceway
On Tuesday March 5th a group of racers got together at Bob Nakamura's Springwater Raceway for some track testing. Bob ran an unofficial practice race to test out the track's computer and race program. Two minute heats were run through all eight lanes with seven racers participating. The race program properly controlled the race and the track was a lot of fun to run on. This track is BIG! Racer's cars generate a lot of speed, and because of some fast corners, those speeds are maintained throughout most of the laps run. For me it will take quite a bit of practice and run time to become accustomed to this new track, but it will be extremely fun getting up to speed!
