Topic: EVEN Thursday Racing at TooBad Motorplex THIS Thursday Sept. 8th!

This Thursday Sept. 8th TooBad Motorplex in Fairview will be open for a special night of racing for NASTE members and the members of the Ford Driving School.

Doors open at 4:00pm with racing to start at 5:00pm. The main race of the evening will be an IROC style race with the 1/24 NASTE Sports Racers as raced at Rapid Raceway last season. We will also race the Trans Am Class as spec'd for Odd Thursday racing.

This race is sponsored by Jeff & Amy Fields. Plan to come out for some racing, food, and fun!

Are we still planning on racing TransAm cars as well?

We were talking about what to run for the Ford folks and Trans Am cars came up and everyone kind of said yes.  That's the only reason I inquired, I don't have a preference either way.

That sounds good to me Rico. I'll run a round with the NASTE Sports Racers we ran at Howie's, then we can run a Trans Am Class race. We should have enough loaner cars to get through it? I've got two cars we can use.

Had a great time racing with the Ford Driving Instructors tonight!

Ran a couple IROC style races, one with the dreaded VW Womps and a second with BRM Porsche 962s. ......And Bryan Dickerson won BOTH races!

Congrats to Bryan on some excellent driving, and thanks to Rico and Greg for puting up their BRM Porsches for the IROC (I Regret Offering Cars) Race!!!!

And the biggest thanks to Jeff & Amy for bringing all the food and refreshemnts and setting this event up!

Other than a loose driver, 'ol yeller seems none the worse for the wear.  It was an action filled, high flying night of racing- just the way we like it.
