Topic: Late Model Trans-Am

A new class has been added for next season: late model True Scale Trans-Am. Larry Cockerham is the first to build and run it on his track. With help from Bill, there will be a picture of it here. This is going to be a fun class.

Re: Late Model Trans-Am

The name of this class has been changed to: TA2. The reason for this is that there is a 1-1 scale racing series that is a continuation/spin off of the original Trans-Am series started in 1966. This TA2 class races only the late model Mustang, Camaro, and soon to be Challenger. This just happens to be what we are doing, so it is appropriate.

Re: Late Model Trans-Am

Dan, if you get a chance you should check out a race at Howie's Rapid Raceway. They race some very interesting 1/24 scale cars, not the average clear body type flexi-cars. The cars they race are more like 1/32 cars, nice models only in 1/24.
