Topic: Braid Depth

Does anyone have a rough idea of what Tom's Braid depth is set at his track?

Re: Braid Depth

The depth of Tom's track braid is basically flat with the track surface. The bottom of the guide braid shoulder should be adjusted flat to the bottom of the chassis (see picture). The thickness of the guide braid should rase the front tires off the surface of the track about .010 - .015 giving the front tires free-wheeling effect on the flat straights (also on the tech block) and the car will lean in the corners enough for the front wheels traction to be effective.
